because there is a huge chance that there will be hurt involved in true love. There is pain in staying up nights waiting on a wayward child to decide to come home. There is agony in standing beside a dying spouse and knowing that there is nothing that can be done other than giving comfort and being there. There is torture in seeing a loved one go the wrong way and end up paying dearly due to rebellion.
"Because iniquity abounds, the love of many wax cold"
Are we willing to put self aside, take the chance of being hurt, but allow GOD to work through us in HIS abundant love, repent of our iniquities and seek HIS will in our lives?
This world would really change if people really learned about loving in deed and truth instead of just word only.

Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situations- some fact of life- UNACCEPTABLE TO ME, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. unless i accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changes in the world as on what need to be changed in me and in my attitudes..
