I am spiritual, not religious. I believe in God but do not subscribe at all to religion.

Something did happen in the middle east almost 7000 yrs ago, because the prophets thst wrote the books were obviously very prophetic... where did they get their info? and no I do not believe it was a one on one with God.

Why are people fascinated with other peoples dead, yet protective of their own? No one I know would consider having a loved one dug up and set out for view in a museum. Though it is exceptable to dig up the dead of other cultures for preservation.

Mao Tse-Tung

The list is endless of killing, misery and death that has nothing to do with religion.

Let me start here: I am not one of you. However, I respect your religion greatly, and I respect that there are many of you who *do* practice the words of Jesus. I thank you for it. You're the ones who have helped me out many times in my life, and I appreciate it greatly.

My question: What is your outlook on those who preach hate in the name of Jesus? What, if anything, do you/can you do about them? On one hand, this is incredibly damaging to the image of your church (and these people are the ones who fuel many of the fires on this site), as well as simply harmful in general.

I personally know, from my own experience, that there are a lot of wonderful people who are Christians. Not everyone has this to draw on, and it's the hatemongers who yell the loudest and get the attention. I know, I know this is almost a hopeless task, but...how do you deal with these people?

All he wants to do is chill with nature and now he is either burning in hell or he is in heaven worshiping God! I don't think he will be happy either way! Unless they have swamps in heaven. I guess there might be some snakes in hell. Maybe the devil will let him play with them. What do you think?

I was watching CNN earlier and they were talking about the 5th anniversary of 9/11. I was just thinking: The terrorists had to get through airport security. I was thinking, how bad do you think those security guards feel? I mean there they were and the terrorists walk right by them and got on the plane. I mean I know the terrorists were pretty secretive and the security guards couldn't do anything about it, but wouldn't you still feel bad?
