I am spiritual, not religious. I believe in God but do not subscribe at all to religion.
Something did happen in the middle east almost 7000 yrs ago, because the prophets thst wrote the books were obviously very prophetic... where did they get their info? and no I do not believe it was a one on one with God.

Preacher, I believe evereything is ultimatley of God, however I suspect the prophets had a less spiritual source of information, just a hunch... don't be offended.

Well 'butchtroll', it was about 4500 years ago and not 7000. And They Were GOD'S Prophets, not their own. You call yourself spiritual, but the spirit that you are listening to is Satanic, and not Holy.

There are no historical records from that period.
I think the oldest written documents yet found were from 2000bc, so there is nothing to base any conclusion on, except oral traditions.
