Even though I hadn't heard it in years, all of a sudden today, the song "Fairies wear boots" by black sabbath started echoing in my head for a very long time.

What is god trying to tell me, and why does he wish to deliver it through ozzy osbourne? He must be sending me some kind of sign, otherwise there would be no reason to remember the song that I hadn't heard in years

Ladies this one is for you!!!

Should wives submit to their husbands? If so, what does it mean to you? If you're married and a Christian, are you a submissive wife?

Also, is it wrong for a woman to be the leader of a local church?

Hey guys I am really down and out, I can't find a job that ever works for me. I just got fired from my job tonight at as a late night grocery stocker which was terribly fast paced anyway and I wanted to quit so bad. I've been through a lot of jobs but I can't seem to find the one that works for me. I've been a telemarketer (too much stress and preassure to sell), worked in factories and grocery stores (too fast paced), done data entry typing (which was good but I'm moving to Toronto soon and apparently you need to know keystroke 1-10 which i don't), fast food and nursing home food prep (hated both and moved on) and a few non-sales positions which were nice, I would call buisnesses and ask if they used credit cards then asked if they take american experss and hang up, easy. I liked that position a lot. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should take up that would fit into a person like me. I don' have a liscesnce, want to be alone, and don't care if the job is repedaive/but slow!

1 Corinthians 14

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

This is what your precious bible says about women and their place in the church.

AND REMEMBER YOU SAY THAT THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD AND SO YOU CANNOT CHOOSE WHAT TO BELIEVE AND WHAT NOT TO BELIEVE.

People tell me to pray. But you know what good does it do? If god has a plan my prayers arent really gonna change it are they?
Someone said prayer does NOT change god's mind. It changes US? so why pray..things are gonna happen.they are gonna happen any way...

I have posted a few questions on here and have often been met with the same statement that I must accept Christ as your savior. I was not raised in a religious household and did not go to church on a regular basis. Infact I was raised with quite eclectic beleifs. I have explored Christianity before and did not agree with some of the fundamental beleifs. Yet I'm still told I need to accept Christ as my savior. To me, that is as easy as telling a Christian they need to deny Christ to go to heaven. (I am using this analogy only as demonstration of how it feels for me).

I have often thought that people raised with a religion have it easier because they are taught one thing from the begining and that is their truth. Its like a walking person going up to a person in a wheel chair and saying "I walk. If you only believe you can walk you can! just believe harder!"

What do you think? Should people have more consideration for those of us who struggle and were not born into beleif?

Please explain to me the idea of predestination. I was told that God has a "plan" for everyone, that we all follow and that he knows exactly what we'll do in our lives. Now, I take it that the person who told me was saying that our lives are set, and that we cannot change it. The decisions we make, the lifestyles we live, etc etc. Apparantly, God planned all of this out for us, each and every one. Personally, I don't like this concept because it nullifies our free will. But my question is, and if this predestination concept holds true, Why would God create people who don't believe in him? Why would he make us sin? Why take away our free will? I just don't like the idea that I am just some kind of "plan," and that I'm not using my own f***ing brain, God is. Besides, don't you think I should be the one making my own decisions in life? Explain this to me, because I'd really like to know if that's really how it works.

I just want to calm him down because he is shying away from me and I wont to place him in a predicament.
He has had physical reactions and also has changed his behavior towards me.
I understand that he has choosen to express his sexuality in that way and must be complicated to consider that his choice could hesitate because something like this.

Ok, here's the revised version of my question ...

Being Gay to some is considered a sin. right? And to some it's not a sin at all. Ok, I'd like to know, for the gay person that does not consider being gay to be a sin, and still feel's a walk with God. Has that person ever spoke in tongues. And Bunbury, I know all about the Gifts of the Spirit thankyou. I'm wanting to find out from the Gay person if they have spoke in tongues.

For those that dont know what I mean when I say "spoke in tongues" I mean, a heavenly language that you speak between you and God. Some people believe it's still for this day, some do not.

I personally feel that Being Gay is a sin. And I dont feel that if a person is Gay that they could really be a Christian.

Just looking for an answer from a Gay that feels like he/she is a Christian.
