Last year I went as Gwen Stefani and got a lot of great compliments. I like doing creative things. Not those store bought costumes.

There are hundreds of monotheistic & polytheistic religions, and I notice that most of non-believers here just keep on teasing Christians.

In my view, real Non-Believers would tease EVERY religion and the concept of "deity" instead of the christian "God" ONLY.

Are they christianised non-believers or what?

It seems so narrow-minded, in my view.

Why did he fast (also an act of worship)
How was he tempted by the devil (did the devil tempt god?)
Why did he say 'may YOUR will be done'. If he is God is it not his will?
Why did he say only the Father knows when the hour is? (does the Father know things that the son doesnt?)

Does the muslim position not make more sense, that he was a great Prophet of God?

Disclaimer: I'm an agnostic, not trying to convert or disconvert anyone.

So, what happens in the mind of a person who stops believing in "God(s)"?

Is it really as simple as "Oh, Evolution, ok well then there is no God is there"?

Obviously the Theory of Evolution and Natural Selection are much deeper than just "vhala"; but you get my point I hope, is there a scientific understanding of the universe that is prerequisite to Atheism/Agnostocism?

So... I'm wondering where you get those little plastic baggies that drugs dealers use. Who makes them? Where can you buy them? I'm just a curious sock wondering, but I'm serious. I asked some friends and no one knew the answer!

Under the current law, approved by a former military dictator in 1979, prosecuting a rape case requires testimony from four witnesses, making punishment almost impossible because such attacks are rarely public.

A woman who claims she was raped but fails to prove her case can be convicted of adultery, punishable by death.

Maulana Fazalur Rahman, a leader of the Islamic coalition, said Tuesday that lawmakers in his group would vacate their seats in the National Assembly if the government tries to get the assembly's approval to change the law.

"We will render every sacrifice for the protection of the Shariah (traditional Islamic) laws," he said at a news conference.

The quote above came from a Yahoo News article. I *want* to respect Islam, but I see things like this and it makes my skin crawl. Is this really what this "peaceful" religion espouses???

1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual cleanliness - Lev.15:19-24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offence.

4. Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don.t agree. Can you settle this?

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn.t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev.20:14)

Check out the Yahoo! News article about the baby boy being born, and the relief that they wouldn't have to put a woman in charge. What's wrong with that?

now I'm finding it difficult to relax, and keep freaking out when I think certain things. I keep remembering really random stuff as well, as I'm having trouble snapping out of it. I'm convinced I think worst things than everyone else, even though people are always going on about my innocence. How can I go back to normal, without being so paranoid?
