Religion gives hope strength and courage to a lot of people in their hour of need (not me I hasten to add) .. its just that only the bad things get reported on the news....

Religion is good when it gives people hope, comfort and contact with other people. Some people need what it gives. It's just not for me.

No, the best thing it gives us is community-a closeness and belonging we would not have otherwise.
