Euthanasia. No matter what science or anything else proves, disproves, etc. etc. people will never agree on this.

Religion is probably the most contraversial due the world going a bit mad. But i'm sure you'd get a good discussion/argument with politics/race down to sport if you feel strong enough about a particular subject.

I've always been advised to steer clear of politics and religion closely followed by sport if you don't want to get into a heated argument!! However, I guess issues around sexual equalty can also trigger some interesting discussions!!

In my opinion..... iasked two questions on 'Race' a powerful subject, non abusive, strictly observational questions, close to the bone and based on fact... i was told off like a little boy, i nearly went and stood in the corner for a week. I can still feel the feedback off my machine.

Anything involving religion, politics, homosexuality ... pretty much anything that involves a large number of able-bodied people who are capable of articulating an argument.
Makes me wish more people would be as militant about helping the mentally disabled.
