I am referring to the phrase in 31:32 "I was a husband to them," which is rendered in 8:9 as "but I regarded them not."
Please don't answer by saying that the quotation is based on the Septuigant text of Jeremiah instead of the Masoretic Hebrew text, as it is a clear fact that the 70 scholars/Rabbis only wrote Septuigiant text on the Pentateuch, but not on the rest of scripture. (The rest of the text included in the septuigant was written after the time of Jesus by the church).
Please don't say the Bible is not the word of G0d. Please don't say that there is a mistake here-assume that each is the original text penned by each author respectively.

I'm out for my usual morning run about two weeks ago and see this incredible Dodge Ram truck. Custom grille, sweet paint job, detailed … I'm a chick that is a sucker for nice looking trucks. So the guy sees me looking at him and goes around the block, pulls over and says, "I couldn’t help but notice that you were checking me out". Two other guys are in the truck, all smiles thinking that their friend is going to get some digits.

Without even thinking I say, "Actually, I was checking out your truck" and keep on running. Later in the day I started thinking about that and wondered if I hurt his feelings. Not that it matters, he's some random stranger. Alas, I do see him almost every morning when I am running and most of the time he gives me this little wave. Should I start up some chit chat and apologize or just let it slide and admire that sweet *** Dodge Ram when it drives by?

Last year I was in a situation where i was not sure what to do. I temped in an office for a few months and this was over the Christmas period. We were two teams of people in the same office. I was friendly with everyone but only knew them in work and not socially. One of the ladies was Muslim. When it came time to hand out Christmas cards i was not sure whether to include her or not. I didnt want to offend her by giving her one but at the same time didnt want to make her feel excluded. I went into the office really early and took a sneak at her work station and saw that she had a few cards on her desk so felt confident enjough to give her one.

Would you be offended if you were given a Christmas card if you were not Christian?

In the bible it says:


'One day, Christ will return to Earth and complete the final act of man's redemption (2 Peter 3:9-10). He will destroy this present universe and create a new heavens and Earth (2 Peter 3:7,10; Revelations 21:1). All the stars and planets will be destroyed, along with the Earth.'

That states that god will destroy the entire universe as a punishment for adams sins. But he would destroy all alien life which surely is nothing to do with adams sins. So if aliens turned up would you lose your faith?
