Well we've certainly been helped on our way by the media owners, who make tons of money from "dumbing us down". They keep us fighting each other so we won't notice them laughing all the way to the bank! Character assassination is meat and drink to them but they need to remember that what goes around eventually comes back to bite you in the bum! (Or a lot worse than that!, we've seen what happens to tyrants when the "people catch up with them!)

Mostly it is just fun, but sometimes there are really important things you need help with, like the other day when I found out I had been a victim of ID fraud and didn't know what to do or where to go, I got loads of really good usefull help. So it can be good.

I don't know why but I find Yahoo answers weirdly addictive.

Plus passing on a bit of knowledge can only be a good thing, surely.

I don't think its dumb to reach out to people that you have something in common with. This is a great way for people to voice their opinions who otherwise would have no forum to do so.
