Is SDIA the judgment of Dog?

2006-09-06 03:59:18 · answer #1 · answered by strider89406 5 · 2 0

In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus talks about a loving Father who loses his son to a life of sin and debauchery. Does the Father go out of his way to "punish" the son for his sins? No. But does the son endure heavy consquences for his choices in life? Absolutely. He eats of the pigs' food--pretty hefty consequences. They may seem like a punishment to the son, but really they are just the unintended results of his sinful choices in life. When the son repents and comes back to the father, the Father welcomes him with open arms. In fact, the Jesus says that even when the son is "a long way off," the father runs out to greet him.
I think AIDS is the consequence of sinful choices. I think God created a world in which there were such consequences in order to encourage us to make the right choices, but I do not think He deliberately and individually creates diseases as a method of judgement.
God Bless!

I couldn't be certain, but there's a Scripture in Romans Chapter 1 that speaks of men and women "burning in their lust one for another" "leaving the natural use and affection(working homosexual acts)" and "reaping in themselves the recompense". If it is a judgment, then what is wrong with those that get AIDS and are not homosexual?

you do no longer provide your source for those numbers, yet whether they are maximum suitable, as a question of actuality nevertheless that HIV unfold like wildfire first in the gay community, because of the fact the anal partitions have not any resistance to viruses. The gay community fought against classic affliction containment measures including preserving information of those contaminated and instituting differences in habit. Now it has unfold to different segments of the inhabitants, yet its unfold might have been very much decreased. of direction we ought to constantly be discouraging promiscuity, that's what Christians have been asserting all alongside. Promiscuity is the huge sort a million explanation why such many human beings are contaminated in the present day. If Christian sexual morals were practiced all alongside HIV might have remained fairly uncommon, like ebola, as an occasion. As a Catholic I have not any objection to lifelong dedication by making use of anybody. I do exactly no longer like it to be referred to as "marriage" whilst it is not what this is.

First of all, the S stands for syndrome, so it should be capitalized. As for God's judgement, how does that work to newborn children who get AIDS from their mother's milk?

I doubt it.
However, I do not pretend to know what God is planning, so it could be.

P.S. I REALLY doubt it though; God tends to be more... direct with his judgments. *cough...Sodom and Gomorrah...cough*

Okay, someone gave me a thumbs down. Would anyone tell me if what I wrote is offensive. I lack social skills so I am sorry if I was rude.

Some ask “Is AIDS a judgment of God?” Most hireling ministers will say “No, God loves everybody because my God is a God of love not hate”. But the Scriptures say otherwise. God is “THE” God of Love not “an” ostrich god of tolerance. Everybody likes to use the “love” card when they discuss religion but they conveniently forget that God also possesses the attributes of Holiness, Righteousness Rom 2:5 2Th 1:5, Judgment Rom 1:18 Rom 2:2 Rom 2:5 2Th 1:5 Eph 5:6 Col 3:6 Joh 3:36, Vengeance Jud 1:7 Heb 10:30 2Th 1:7-9 Rom 12:19, Hate Rom 9:13 Mal 2:16 Deu 12:31 Deu 16:22 Pro 6:16-19, Anger Mar 3:5, and Wrath Rom 2:5. God will rebuke and RECOMPENSE Rev 3:19 Heb 10:30-31 Rom 1:27. Definition of “recompense” in the dictionary.

Read the Bible for yourselves and see how God handles sin. In Rev 2:20-23 God says “…I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation… I will kill her children with death”. Even the watered down English versions of the bible emphasize this harsh judgment, for now, until political correctness pressure makes them eventually change it. This was a warning direct from God to a member in the established New Testament Church not a quote from the Old Testament. God is talking to CHURCH members in the Church not the old sinner on the outside. How’s that for a so called loving, accepting anything god (one of your own making). The phrase “except they repent” is a qualification for mercy if they STOP. God loves us so much that He will “rebuke and chasten” us so that we will be driven to repentance Rev 3:19. God sometimes uses His ministers to administer this rebuke. A minister that truly “LOVES” people must not only exhort but must also rebuke those who sin 2Tim 4:2-4 1Tim 5:20 or be guilty of that persons blood Act 20:26-27 Eze 3:18. I’m not quite sure what that means to the wishy-washy preachers 2Tim 4:3-4 but I have no intention of finding out.
Some say “but AIDS also attacks some that are innocent how could He be a loving God and let that happen?” Rain falls on the just and the unjust Mat 5:45. Sin damages everyone and its effects are not just confined to just the transgressor. Sin does not discriminate - do automobiles when they crash? Hold on - don’t worry, if the innocent die because of someone’s sin, God will reward his saints who suffer amply and God will avenge them in the judgment Rev 6:9-11.
On 2013-06-17 I watched a PBS channel16 program entitled American Experience the "Stonewall Uprising" that launched a worldwide gay rights movement in 1969. It talked about homosexuals meeting and having sex orgies in the meat packing trucks at night in New York in 1969. I call this a PBS cooking show “New York Strip Steak”. This should take your appetite.
What must the Homosexual Do? Instead of “coming out of the closet” to proudly display their sin, they should do like Mat 6:6 says and “enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father…” I’m not telling you to “go back into the closet” because what you “have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light” and what you have “spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.” Luk 12:3. You can not ignore or conceal sin for “be sure your sin will find you out” Num 32:23. Repent of your sins, be converted, and “come out from among them and be ye separate” 2Cor 6:17.
Come to God with a humble and contrite spirit. Confess your sins to Him. Tell Him you believe on His only Begotten Son whom He sent into the world to die on a cross and be raised from the dead as payment for your sins. Be baptized and serve and obey Him till He comes for us or we go to Him. Take up your cross and follow Him. What greater love can He show to us? This is the price God had to pay for creating creatures that would not be robots but would have freewill. Who would have the ability to love and follow Him or hate and reject Him. I know this paper will probably anger many but I believe God has told me to write this to you as a watchman who must warn those who are in grave danger. Some day one of my own immediate family may find themselves struggling with this sin and may find hope and comfort from this writing. I tell you these things because I love you and want you to receive the peace, joy, and contentment that I have finally found in this Saviour that God has provided. My stance as a minister of Almighty God on this and other controversial subjects will not gain me many friends and will probably alienate me from those in my own family but I have already counted up the cost and will continue in my quest for the Pearl of Great Price. Come quickly Lord Jesus, the only Begotten of the Father. Praise His Holy name forever. May He keep us from falling. May we be true to His WORD. May we serve and follow Him even unto death. We owe Him everything. Do I have a witness? AMEN.
