In the bible it says:

'One day, Christ will return to Earth and complete the final act of man's redemption (2 Peter 3:9-10). He will destroy this present universe and create a new heavens and Earth (2 Peter 3:7,10; Revelations 21:1). All the stars and planets will be destroyed, along with the Earth.'

That states that god will destroy the entire universe as a punishment for adams sins. But he would destroy all alien life which surely is nothing to do with adams sins. So if aliens turned up would you lose your faith?

I think some people misunderstand. I'm not asking did god create aliens, i'm saying that the bible states god will destroy EVERYTHING for adams mistake. But since adam is not related to aliens that would involve destroying ALL creation. There isn't about god's existance, its about the credibility of the bible.

the LDS church (Mormons) believe in life on other planets.
22 And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!
D&C 76:23
23 For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father--
D&C 76:24
24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.

I am sure some Christans would lose their faith in God if aleins populated the Earth. However, it is my personal opinion that God can create anything he wants...including aliens. I don't think they are going to come to Earth, but I wouldn't lose my faith. The passage you quoted states that God will destroy the Earth along with everything else....so the aliens gotta go too.

No. God created ALL things. We don't know everything and as humans we are only capable of understanding a spec of the big picture. We might think we know alot but we don't. And I don't believe we will be punished for Adams transgressions (sins). What do you think Jesus was here for? I think we will be judged on our own sins.

Read Genesis 6:4.

We have been visited before. And it's in the bible.

No, and it's nothing to worry about, anyway. God has all things under His control;if aliens show up, there is a divine purpose for it and Jesus has plans.

Dont be stupid!
Aliens do not contradict the existance of any god in any way.
Christians would simply believe that God made them aswell.
Next time, think before you ask a stupid question.

I don't think the bible directly addresses aliens, so it wouldn't matter either way. It'd be interesting to see if they brought a bible though!
