Think it should be true. Swami Vivekananda also said something similar. I dont have the exact word to quote but would mean something like this. - Take five principles and in that even if we follow one principle completely we will be successful in everything.

Yeah I think that this dude is right.

Compassion helps us to me more aware of others need and not to judged them or critize them, once we achieve this, we wont get upset at them so easily lol...

So we gain the "all other virtues" the guy says.

And I would just add tons of patience...

This mix makes us happy all.

I think it's a great quote. I find no issue with it Let's think that all will gain from using it in their daily journey to the Creator.....peace & love.......

I think Mr. Wangchen has a great point (and it's Biblical) - we are such a selfish people! We all need more Compassion, consideration and show MERCY to our fellowman! God bless!!!

I once read somewhere that John the Apostle, near the end of his life, said that we ought to love one another as Christ also loves us. "For", said John, "if this commandment alone is obeyed, it will be enough."
