I look for references in linguistic, in contrastive linguistic, translatolgy about literality of translation of a single sentence in term of syntax conservation? Does someone created an measure of literality? I am aware of Nida's theories and others ... but everybody proposes some categories of translation ... sort of dicotomies, not based on syntax but on semantics.
I don't look for those semantic based or cultural based approaches; I look for approaches based on measurable aspect of the translation, like number of words translated literalily or percentage of phrases(NPs,VPs,...) conserved within a sentence .

I don't think their going to have such a big impact on the gaming community. I'm more of a Bloodthirsty, Violence freak and I'm thinking Gamers might not turn around to check it out either. Over many centuries, by papal decrees, canon law and other announcements from Rome a campaign of killing 'heretics' was pursued by the Roman Catholic Church - the same organisation who claims that its doctrines have not changed. My question is simple - has the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church changed one iota in this matter of heresy ? Because I have books on the laws of the Catholic Church which indicate that the death penalty is STILL in force within the Catholic Church for heretics. Am I imagining this ?? I can quote the publications, all Vatican approved and officially sealed/approved by the Pope himself.. What's going on ????

i am an aussie woman and i have done lots of travelling. All over asia, middle east, latin america what i saw was thousands of little girls and boys working as sex workers, and outdoor building jobs. I have 2 questions here.
