Some good answers some merely point gaining, others not worth mentioning. I think looking at the answers I have to fully agree with Charlie. Angels are mentioned from Genesis to Revelation and you have to read the Bible to find out. Never heard of the Angels of Mons, that's a true story, it's a pity that everyone who experienced the Angels Intervention which saved the British Expeditionary Force in the 1st World War, that all the witnesses were at once shipped back to "The Front". If you need to know more about this subject, I can tell more in detail.

You will have the sceptics though, and sadly they will dismiss this as a fairy tale. But God is real and the truth is it's for people who disgard fairy tales and theories, because the Bible deals in facts. I can honestly say that i have experienced Angels in all walks of life, since becoming a Christian. There is no male or female Angels, they are the beauty of God's Creation. To understand you have to put your faith in Jesus Christ and He will reveal everything to you.

I am not sure if I believe but, there was one time where I was pretty convinced that there was a supernatural person.
We had an exchange student and we were at the zoo. Anyway, this really beautiful women with long brown hair and tanned skin came up and began talking with our Spanish exchange student about Spain and their mutual connections and someone she should call about working in her field of interest. She was very nice and bright. Anyway. Our exchange student forgot to get her number so we chased after her. She had just left us around a corner that only led straight and she was gone. Anyway, the connection she gave never checked out, but the job she suggested is the one our exchange student has in Spain. Weird. Yes. An angel, closest thing I've ever been tempted to call and angel.

Yes I believe in angels we all have a guardian angel wathcing over us. I once asked my angel a question and asked it if it really heard my question could it show me a single white feather , and the very next day my question was answered a small white feather stopped me in my tracks. Angels can be both male and female but I don't always think they take human form I think they can take many forms like animals. Sometimes when I'm really upset over something I sit quietly and ask for guidance from my angel, sometimes the answer can take many forms it will just come to me out of now where but I know it's my angel who has answered. I have been told by a spiritualist medium some years ago that my guardian angel is a red indian chief and she could actually see him stood behind me and that he was tall.

I do believe in angels. I do not know if I have actually seen them, as they can appear human if they want to. I have felt their presence and a friend of min, who is blind but can see angels, tells me I am accompanied by 2 large ones.

I do not believe angels are masculine or feminine. They do not need to reproduce, so such terms are meaningless (as it will be meaningless to those of us that gain Eternal Life).

I believe that we hear angels more often than we realise. They are God's messengers so they must be passing on messages somehow. I believe that when we have the sudden impulse to phone someone who needs our help, it is the result of an angel's message. When we get an inspiration for something, but do not know where it comes from, that may be an angel. That sudden feeling of dread that causes us to avoid an accident may be an angel as well. I believe that they can put thoughts, images and feelings in us, and that is how they communicate with us.

I certianly do believe in angels. They are both male and female and have never been nor will they ever be in a human physical state. They are not meant to be. An angel is meant for only the purpose of good and helping or healing. Sylvia Browne's "book of angels" is wonderful to read about the different angels that around.

Once when I was very young, I use to really love the sea-side. So much so that for the first time I would be staying away from home. I stay with family friends in a lighthouse (how cool is that, I think I was too young to appreciate the house conversion). For days I was finding it impossible to sleep. Toddler tears, pouring out ever night. A few nights in an dear mother was sent for. But that night I was quiet, the nine year old of the the family when to go see why. He runs down and eagerly says that there was something watching over me, that didn't scare him at all.

This was all relayed to me many times as I got older, I don't know as I was asleep! Though make of it what you will.

Regarding sex, I thought they were meant to be androgynous.

Of course, there are Angels, remember we wrestle against the powers of darkness and the evil satanic devices that the devil will do to stop you from going on with God. Not only is God looking after you but also His Son and Our Saviour Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and a Host of Heavenly Angels.

Yes I have seen Angels, when satan tried to destroy my life, I saw first of all the angels of the devil and the Angels of the Lord rescued me in time. You see Satan is a very powerful foe, so we have to be on our gaurd not to be deceived, after all he is the cheif of liars! By the way, Angels have no male or female bodies, they are the Creation of Beauty that we shall see when we get to Heaven. Well said Charlie and Patch. There are the answers you are looking for because I can see the Lord working through there answers.

If you believe just about everything in the Bible is truthful and based on fact, then angels are indeed real; they are mentioned in the bible several times, including the archangels Gabriel and Michael (I think Michael, but I'm sure about Gabriel). I believe that angels exist, but not with halos and wings and crap like that. I believe that the bible stated they had wings to either differentiate them from regular humans, or to symbolically show that they had the power of God, the power to fly and all that. Personally, I've never seen an angel (not a biblical one, anyway), but perhaps we've run into them several times in the past and did not know it because of their human disguise. There is a story of Jonah (I think) being led somewhere or at least accompanied by a man. I don't know the whole story, but in the end the strange man helped Jonah catch a huge fish, and then revealed himself to Jonah to be an angel in disguise and that he had to test Jonah. Angels are either both feminine and masculine, or neither feminine nor masculine (you couldn't tell them apart). I believe that there are those angels with more femininity (like those who are said to watch and guard babies in the months before their birth) and those with more masculinity (like Michael, who is a warrior angel and in the last days will wage a massive war against Satan, the Dragon. But angels do exist, although angels are the lowest rank of heavenly celestial beings that serve the Almighty Lord. There are three triads in the angelic hierarchy. After angels (according to Pseudo-Dionysius) come the Archangels, then the Principalities, the Powers, the Virtues, the Dominations, the Thrones, the Cherubim, and the Seraphim, who are the absolute closest to God (They surround his Throne)

There are angels or guardians that protect us. They are both male and female. And may appear as a stranger who is there to help you at a difficult time. A Fairy is not an angel.

1) No, I don't believe in angels.
2) No, if they did I would probably believe in them.
3) Imagination? Sort of. More to it than that.
4) Nope, no-one has as far as I know. Lots of people claim to have, though.
5) Neither - beyond human, the angels express a sum of humanity from deep within our subconscious.
