Did you ever wake up from a nap or in the middle of the night totally out of it, and jump out of bed thinking you had to be at work or school etc.? How far did you go in getting ready before you realized you didn't have to be anywhere?

For me it was a getting a shower and getting dressed for sunday school at 2am before I realized.........

I've seen theists posting questions to atheists, asking how they can have any hope/happiness, etc. when they don't believe in god. I always found that question to be rather ignorant.

But just now, I saw an atheist stating that she doesn't believe in anything - fate, karma, psychic ability, etc. And suddenly, I got a glimpse of what those christians were thinking.

I found it rather sad that someone doesn't believe in ANYTHING magical or mystical. It just sounded so flat and final. Remember what it felt like to believe in Santa? Well, some of those things can bring the same sort of feeling.

But then I paused to reflect. DOES that person truly have a flat, meaningless existence? Is their life without purpose, without joy? Hell no! It may be without THAT type of joy, but there is so much to life that can uplift us. Nature, music, family and friends, etc.

What do YOU think? Is belief in something - anything - outside of our five senses necessary for a happy life?

yea, i tried him, and come to find out he was just a cult leader who got nailed to his own belief by the rich and famous, though his followers like you are still around to carry on his tradition of preaching good faith. which is not a bad thing. but please, there is no god. after jesus got whacked, his right hand man told the rest of the followers about his premonitions of seeing jesus and what they were supposed to do. to bad you can't prove your promise. just keep making them.

what's your opinion of judaism?
I am a religious jew, and i am curious to know what others think of judaism. with the recent war in israel (my grandparents actually live real close to haifa and thank G-d they weren't hurt), i am just curious to know if the baised media has really affected ppl and if most ppl actually think that israel was at fault.

also, i am curious to know how everyone feels about jews and judasim in general.

I hate that term but I had to make a point. I'm attracted to ftms but have found some don't like that I tend to date transmen more than bio men. I see all the men I date as whole people and don't focus on the fact they're trans, or ask intrusive, ignorant questions.

If I start a web site for all the above, and all that is asked is that intelligent adults participate, how many would be interested? I can ALWAYS go on the Religion/Spirituality section of Y/A and watch the bickering.

Some complete and total infant is going through all of my answered questions and thumbs downing me. In case you've never heard of Adder_Astros, I'm one of those guys that has asked every question they intended to and now just answer questions and expose the occasional Troll. Needless to say, many of the harder Trolls have as a result decided to wage a little hissyfit campaign against me. Now, every time I open my mout, I usually get at least one (sometimes as many as three (ooooooh I'm shakein')) thumbs downs.

What do you think about thumbs down ratings? Do they have any affect on you?

I see that all these trinitarians have all diffrent concept of who God is and oh its such a great mystery and everybody has there own theory when Corinthians 1:10 Says we should all speak the same thing and let there be no division among you:but that ye be perfectly joing together in the same mind and in the same judgement, but the Godhead is broken down in Timothy 3:16 and it reveals the mystery.
