Growing up, my next door neighbors were Jewish. I used to do dishes for them each year for the Seder Meal. It was so facinating - I wanted to be involved. (I'm Catholic, in case that matters.)

Christianity grew out of Judaism. Jesus himself was a Jew, so to me it makes sense to honor my Jewish friends and the "forefathers" of my religion. We share sacred writings in common and, from what I've seen, we follow a very similiar moral code. I find the religion facinating and hope someday to have the chance to study it.

I get extremely offended when people hate Jews because "they killed Jesus." First of all, they are SOOOOO wrong and second, it was 2000 years ago! Jesus forgave, so get over it!

I don't get involved in the political situation. I don't say I like the Jews better than the Palistinians or anything like that. To me, that is an issue that has so much history and politics involved that I don't think I can ever hope to understand it. And the whole thing with Lebanon? I'm lost.

I don't think Israel was at fault but I do think they coulda handled it better.

Like send someone in to talk to Lebanon and say hey, if you don't get these Hezbollans (?) out of your congress and start regulating them, we're gonna bomb you all to death...

Alot can be accomplished with talking, even to religious radicals....

In general, Jewish people are peaceful people and in now way deserve all the persecution they have gotten for their religion.

Although, I am a Christian and I just can't grasp the fact that you all are still waiting for the first arrival of the Messiah... seeing the present condition of the world and all...

Now am I wrong to think Jewish people believe that? I may be incorrect about the fact that you all believe that but that's what I always assumed since you only read the old testament.

Oh, but God Bless You ! No matter what religion!!

I might be biased having Jewish ancestors, but my take on Judaism is that is a faith that believes strongly in family and social responsibilty, and that the rule of law is the key to both of these.

As for the recent combat, considering the long period of time that Hizbollah have spent in attacking northern Israel and the animosity between all parites, such a situation was probably inevitable; As for fault, probably the fault lies with political agendas rather than religious faith.

I am a Christian by faith, but a Jew by birth.

Anybody with half a brain knows Israel was not at fault for the incursion into Lebanon. With missiles raining down day after day, week after week for how many years now? I'm surprised they waited this long!

What do I think of Judaism? I think it's too bad that the traditions of the elders have kept God's chosen people from a saving faith in the God of our fathers!

Do I think all Jews are lost? No. God knows their hearts. Culture and tradition keep alot of people from a fruitful spiritual walk. I'm sure some if not most Jews have responded to nature, or the Torah and lead Godly lives. Clean hands and a pure heart are still the currency in heaven.

As a Christian I'm looking forward to the day soon to come when the LORD will magnify Joshua (Jesus' Hebrew name) and the nation will receive the messiah their high priest condemned to death by his pronouncement "We have no king but Caesar". By the way, that gave Rome the authority to evict the nation from the land of promise. At that point the priest ceased being the mediator between God and man, and by being crucified for BEING the King of the Jews, Jesus acquired that office.

The only hope for the nation, and the only window of opportunity for Israel is to receive their King who alone can disposess the usurpers and lead them into the promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Christianity has its roots in Judasim.
Look at the Old Testament of the Bible.
This is Judasim at its infancy.
Christ came to fulfill all that was written in the Old Testament.

I for one was rooting for Israel to bust some hez-bozo butt! You guys did a good job, until the anti-Israel UN got into it.

The Lord commands us to pray for the peace of Jeruselam; as He will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.

Ref why the Jewish people spell G-D the way they do, it is out of deep reverence for God, as they feel unworthy to write His holy name.

I dont think that many people have problems with jews anymore.. i think its moved to mexicans.. maybe im just blind.. but i think judasim is intersting... i wish i could have actually paid attention when my geography teacher was talking about it... what i got before i fell asleep was really intresting.

I have no problem with Jews or Judaism, though I don't practice the religion. They are just as good as all other people.

My Lord is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Christianity has its roots in Judaism. God said Jews were the apple of His eye and God never changes! My Bible says I will be blessed if I bless you and I will be cursed if I curse you, and God's word never changes either!

I'm an atheist, so from my perspective Judaism is yet another goofball religion. It is my firm belief that religion causes more and bloodier wars than any other field of human endeavour.

When I rule the world, I'll ban every religion. And mayonnaise. Actually, I'll ban mayonnaise first, then religion.

I'm cool with it. I like how it's similar to Christianity, but at the same time very, very different.

I do wonder, though...how come the word God is spelled "G-d?" Hmm...methinks it's time to ask here.
