Yes I believe he did have a sense of humor. There is no scripture chapter and verse that I can find that says he did. But he was human, as well as God, both have a sense of humor, so if the joke was not cruel, or harmful I believed he laughed.

For sure.!!.. It says that he had all the same traits and characteristics as all the rest of us humans, it also says in the bible that he ate, drank ,and made Merry with the drunks and the Harlots. So it seems like he partied and had a good time!
People actually gave him a pretty hard time back in the day for doing that. The "Pharisees" (the religious leaders of his day) Accused him of being a "Wine bibber" and a friend of "publicans and sinners" To which he wisely replied, that he came to "seek and save that which was lost" He was willing to get down to these peoples level in order to make them feel loved and worthy in order to save them. Luke chapter 15.has a beautiful chapter all about love and forgiveness.
Read the "Gospels" Mathew, Mark ,Luke and John.
True accounts of Jesus' life.

Jesus said to let the little children come to him. He loves children, He loves us as His children.
I think he does have a sense of humour, or else we would not!

I hate it when I hear some historian talk about Jesus being a meloncholy person. Surely he was burdened with our cares and how people rejected Him, but I know He would have been a great conversationalist and laughed too.

Absolutely. He had to have a sense of humor, just look at some of the things around you. He did create both men and women, and expects us to live in harmony. That is funny.

Besides the fact that He created me, He has to have had a great sense of humor! Think about the whole "log in the eye" imagery He used. Talk about hyperbole! Yeah, He has a great sense of humor.

Jesus was human, and God, but He laughed just like you and me. We can have fun, and laugh without hurting anyone, or down grading anyone. Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; He experienced everything except sexual intercourse. He had to stay pure to save us all. Yes He did laugh and He did joke around. Take care, and may God bless you.

I'm sure He did, as long as the joke was clean and funny. He loved to be around little children and tell them stories that made them laugh.

yeah, i definitely think so.

we characterize Jesus as like all meek and meely-mouthed, but
He was both controversial and magnaimous. do you think ppl would just sit there and listen to Him if He didn't have a joke every now and then?

i'd like to think He could take a joke, and give one. life is full of humor, and we can laugh because God gave us the ability to do so-- therefore it must mean that God understands humor and thinks it's important.

No doubt, He created that too! "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not not anything made that was made." John 1:1 to John 1:3

There is no mention of it, so all I can do is speculate, which is worth a little less than one graham cracker.

My speculation is that Jesus laughed when things were funny. I doubt he laughed at jokes that were, like, racist, cruel, and unkind...but I can see him laughing at a silly little joke, yeah.
