When do you all think the end of the world is coming? In the bible it says it will be approaching one Isreial goes to war. Isreial is now starting problems. Does that have any thing to do with the end of the world? Also, in the newspaper on friday, a psyco killer convicted in 1990's is awaiting his excution, its now in 46 days, he said that he will not be excuted, the end of the world will come before his excution, and if it doesnt he will certainly be surprised. Is he just saying that or its becuz he psyco? ya know? so what does everyone think??

I'm having trouble finding a decent book that accurately and simply explains Celtic mythology. Anyone have any recomendations or at least a decent web site to visit? It needs to be simple language and descriptive, like Edith Hamilton's "Mythology". Thanks!

Nowadays, with the gender gap being narrowed, do women now actually have more rights than men?

For example, many women want equal wages and pay but still expect for the man to hold the door and pay the bill.

Women want to have equal oppurtunity yet they get to evade drafts. Also, one can't deny the advantage a woman has in court (A male gets harsher punishment than a woman does for committing the same crime, such as rape).

Are those really equal rights or do women just want the pluses of equal rights. Shouldn't it be "equal rights, equal responsibility"?

When I see many women celebrities on TV, like on David Letterman or Jay Leno, especially the ones who wear nice dresses, most of them sit down with their legs crossed. I don't know why they sit like that. If you ladies do sit like that, can you explain why do sit that? It's that almost every women have a habit of how they sit.

What are you gonna be for Halloween and what are you planning on doing the weekend of Halloween?

My costume is Fallen Angel/Dark Fairy, and my plans are to go to a few of my friends parties the weekend before or of Halloween, and on Halloween Im gonna hang out with my friends and eat as much free candy as I can. : )))

by the way Halloween is the best holiday EVER!! well its my fav. anyway.

okay so here is what has happened all of my life i dont know y but it is true okay here goes well i was made fun of all of my life so i started singing everyone said i could sing really good so i tryied to get a record deal but they refused it so i started making friends for the first time and like the first week i was friends with this dude we were waiting for my friends gf on this parking lot and this security guy comes up to the car and says get out of here i tried to tell him what happened but he did not believe me finally he let me go so me and my friend and his friend got into it because he was spending to much time with me so they ganged up on me and beat me up for no reason and then so now i just stay at home i guess you could imagine why so the other day i went to church with my mom and i saw this girl that i liked and we started to talk at church finally i asked her out and she said no so i met this guy at church so we hung out but he wont talk to me now so i have bad luck

I am not the appropriate person to judge others, but I really don't like the tactic that some Christians are using with others to talk about God, saying that they are going straight to Hell.

I am a Christian, but if I weren't a believer I would feel a little angry if someone out of no where yells at me "You are going to Hell".

I really don't like to use that phrase with people, and believe me I have talked about everything here without holding myself back. I am not the best at talking about this things and trying to make people believe in God. I just give my opinions and clarify certain ideas that are wrong about Christians here.

Why can't Christians be a little more careful when approaching other people and talk about their believes?

From my last post it is my understanding that there are two kinds of christians and two kinds of atheists. There are caring, kind christians and there are false ones who belittle others in the name of jesus. There are passive atheists that only attack religion in "self-defence" and there are atheists who attack religion as a sort of fun. Yet it seems that aggresive atheists attack christians, the mean christians retaliate back and upset the passive atheists who then accidentaly insult the good christians. Why don't the good atheists and good christians form a temporary aliance and let the mean people know that they are not wanted instead of fighting each other?
