There is a prophetical statement told by prophet Muhammed and narrated by Abu Dawood (3001) that after winning his first battle against Pagans, prophet Muhammed asked his Jews neighbours to embrace Islam and threatened them that if they do not do so, they would be defeated the same way the Pganas were defeated during their first battle with prophet Muhammed.
Why did prophet Muhammed do that? I thought his mission was to deliver god's message and let people decide by themselves whether to embrace Islam or not. So, why did he threaten those Jews neighbours to embrace Islam?
(by the way, two years later, prophet Muhammed kicked them out and took over their lands and properties)

i just saw this guy in a chat room and he said "im talking to a kid about God! this is so awesome!"
and like this one time i delivered some furniture to a YMCA and usualy i worked on my own and they all like swarmed and had this kind of ultra-happy wierdness were all friends brainwashed cult sort of thing going on that made me feel uncomftorable.
i am interested in fellowship. but i dont like these ultra happy, laughing for no reason, everything is amazing and wonderful... i love God soo so much...bullshit. i mean its not real. but at the same time i do have a serious interest in Jesus Christ and fellowship with other non-insane serious Christians.

That's what a co-worker told me today. It bugs me. The idea is to send kids from tough and disadvantaged neighborhoods in NYC to the country for part of the summer, either to stay with a family or go to camp. The boy I know who went *loved* camp, and so did his mom, because she worried that he would get in trouble at home this summer.

People say that I am a bigot when I deny evolution because I believe in creation. I used to believe in evolution until I did research on it and found many flaws. why is it that both Christians and Left Wingers hate on liberal christians.
