How is the american family "endangered" by gays being able to marry. If anything I would think that there would be more families.

Read the bible.

"Go forth and multiply." Can you honestly say that two people of the same sex can be fruitful and multiply?

I didn't know evolution covertly made the human race into hermaphrodites.

"Go forth and multiply." It didn't say "Go forth to the adoption agency or the sperm bank then be fruitful and multiply."

Whoever invented the perversion of same sex marriage was conceptualizing this while in prison and being sodomized by a 300 pound inmate for a husband. Last time I heard, same sex marriage only happens in prisons.

It would affect our children. Already we see that homosexual activist have succeeded in making it mandatory for kids in California to be taught that homosexuality is normal. Foster kids can not opt out even if their foster parents want to opt them out. Why do homosexuals insist on teaching kids who are not their own? Also what homosexuals really want is not to be able to get married. What they are trying to achieve is the end of marriage. They hope to create incentives for couples who are not married so that there is no reason for marriage. Couples who just live together do not provide the same type of home or family for children. As these children grow up in dysfunctional homes they will have more problems and so will a society that has to deal with them.
Why is it their business what our kids think?

The American Family was, is, and should always be between a man and a woman. If Americans were to let gays marry, what would be next? A man and his dog marrying? One guy already tried that one to prove how gays marrying would destroy society, and what it could lead to. I am a Christian and it goes against everything that I believe in. If it ever comes up on the ballot I will vote against it.

I'm opposed to gay marriage, but I've never felt the american family "endangered" persay, I havent a clue what you mean about more families with same sex marriage,

but I'm opposed to it for one reason, I'm christian, The bible says it's wrong, therefore i feel it's wrong

God created man, and woman, for eachother, so they can be "Fruitful and multiply" he didnt create man to go with man or woman to go with woman......... that's just wrong (in my opinion of course)

I am not opposed to gay marriages..however if u want this addressed right u must have empathy for others..

ever since the creation a marriage is a union between male and female with biological children involved..

If the gays would only have enough love and courtesy for mankind he would change the name of marriage to union..

and this alone would satisfy those who are opposed
to gay ( marriage ) union..

lets have courtesy for each other and the other sides..

families are man women and child. American families portrayed as having a gay couple in the mix eeeeek gay sin, same sex cant reproduce without the opposite sex. gays shouldn't be allowed to adopt either.

Seriously....why would anyone raise a family inside of a belief system that figures gay is normal? Basing your whole lifestyle on what kind of hole gets you off sexually is not correct judgement. Leave the raising of children to a mother and father who can teach them from both sides of sexuality.Basing your life on the fact that you happen to like the same sex in bed is not grounds for raising up babies to like feel the same way as gay.Yucky! That's just another form of sexual abuse because it entails going outside of normal sexual experience and reasoning.Gays CAN stop their unnatural thoughts by choosing to change their mind. They are just crying out for attention! There's a time and a place for this kind of sexual thinking and it is not proper in a family environment. It's for the bedroom and not lifestyles!Yucky.Poor babies!

I can sort of understand the objection to the word "marriage" and the problems that some would have by these unions being sanctified by a church but I see no reason why two people who are committed to each other can't have basic legal rights. My marriage certainly isn't threatened and my family isn't endangered by people choosing to be monogamous.

When a man and a man or woman and woman love one another, that's one abomination. But when the law actually is clueless enough to get behind an abomination, back it up, give it it's rights, some political power, a voice, etc., then the abomination grows.

It then looks like what God naturally made for us, our physical bodies, is to be spurned, cursed, turned away, not a man for a woman, or a woman for a man.....but a man for a man! And look! This new law proves it! With men being able to marry men, and women able to marry women, well....it goes to show how much the very law system is going down the drain, the toilet, fast.

It's not being "homophobic" or anything else like that, before such an excuse comes into your minds, but imagine a law came out stating green meant stop, and go meant red for traffic lights every OTHER day only.

That's confusing, unnecessary, totally out of place, and not worthy of even being considered to being made a law. And the same goes with "Uncle Bob and Aunt Josh". They were not made to procreate and have children, thus....it's not right at all for them to be together. The family concept gets all screwed up, and confusion only grows more massive to those who don't know Christ is the only way out.

It will be another drop in the bucket of things that send our society down the drain. (Others are: abortion, sex before marriage, infidelity, divorce, child abuse, sexual abuses and perversions, pornograpghy, child porn, rape, murder, greed, selfishness, hatred, etc etc...) If we could stop all these from happening, we would!

I speak out against all of these things and homosexuality, so it's not like it's singled out, not by me anyway.
