A friend of mine asked a question and I didn't know the answer: If you trow a rock towards God , He can stop it with His hand, whatever the size of the rock is. Is the same with 2 rocks. But what if you trow 3 or more rocks in the same time?

That is the point when God becomes vulnerable, in my opinion.

I read my Bible again and I was hopeing to get an answer but I didn't.

Can you help me with that?

firstly, i know what im doing may sound dumb to some but i promise you it really is not and it does help.

So what is it im doing? Im actually doing a list of things i want to ensure ill do every single day and in order to do that i have wrote it down on a paper and paste it up where i can see it the first thing in the morning when i wake up.

This helps remind me and motivate me to follow the list strictly and it pretty much work as i have tried it for months now.
I have written down im quitting cigarette and i have had a puff since then.

Currently this is my list
1) Makes my girlfriend feel she the luckiest girl in the world
2) Send a prayer to God
3) Lend a helping hands to those who need it
4) Stop being a lazy bum, finish up what Im supposed to do
5) Stop smoking
6) Get the abs like Antonio Sabato Jr :P

But now i do need you guys to add some of the things that is good to be done as i find it incomplete.

Pls let me know what i can add on to the list. Thanks.

ok well in a resent serch of mine i found that chinese dates back 1000 years before the oldest known form of cuniform or any other language . can any one corroberate this. oh and please keep hebrew out of this it was used after the death of christ hence is definatly not any were near old enough.

Okay, so according to mythology, man builds this tower that reaches to the Heavens. (Genesis 11:1-10 KJV) God comes down to the city to "see" the tower. It turns out that God doesn't like the tower because, a. it means that mankind is getting smarter, and b. they are unafraid to use their technology. God then makes mankind speak different languages.

1. So which is higher, the Tower of Babel, or The International Space Station?

2. If The International Space Station is higher than The Tower of Babel, why doesn't God seem to be upset about it? Clearly, it is a better example of mankinds technology than bronze-age housing developements.

3. Why would God have to come down to see the city and the tower? Why couldn't He see it from Heaven?

4. Can God see The International Space Station, or has it just escaped His notice like the Tower of Babel did?

5. How mad do you think He's going to be when He finally realizes we've built The International Space Station?

Women frequently de-emphasize the value of money on their evaluations of men. OK, then how much does their bank balance or earnings effect those rankings?

Example, a guy who you meet rates a solid 7.5 in general appearance, personality, etc. An okay guy. No "sparks".

Then you find out the guy owns a multi-million dollar house? Or makes a few hundred thou a year.

How many "points" now?

What if he was REALLY rich. Had a private plane. A yacht. Income in seven or eight figures. How many points then?

Finally, if your financial situation was considerably different than it is now. For instance, if you were much wealthier (earning triple what you do now), or much poorer (earning half). How do you think it would effect your rating then?

I find a common misconception in all your arguments.
The Bible that you read you cannot understand fully uniless you are a Christian yourself; You try to explain Faith and God sceintifically, when God is beyond sceince.
All your "reasons" not to believe in God are surrounded by this foundation. You create science and evolution theories to be your God. If you dont belive in God our a higher power why do you intend to argue with us that do? To argue is to care. If one does not believe in God then why would you care if soemone else did? You want us to believe in Science? Your "god"? In that case your no worse then what you make us out to be(which we are not).
Your very anger and work to prove that there is not a God only attracts the opposite effect to Christians and other non -atheist groups. Why try to undiscover somthign that you dont believe in or have a basis with? You do yourselves what you say we do.

Ok, here is the deal..
Congress shall make NO LAW.
What is a law?Is it part of state?What is state?Are laws in state?
Respecting an establishment of religion.
How do you establish a religion and respect it?Is that by unifying state and church?Is that by saying "we are a Christian nation"?
Now lets put that together:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"
Now clearly this means that our "state" shall not make an official religion.Doesn't it?Besides actually saying "separation of church and state" how much more clear can that be?If you make a law based on religion you break this because the word law is in it.Same with a religion.

I'd like to give my ancestors food, but then what do i do with it after they've eated the spirit of the food? Is it really okay to just put it in the bin, that seems so disrespectful. Please help.
