Would it be useful to set up a petition online to send a powerful message to the Pope that his policy of hindering the distribution of condoms is killing millions of people in Africa and leaving many more millions of orphaned children?

Condoms are presently the only known protective measure against Aids apart from total abstinence which is not much help to sexually active people. Saving lives should be first priority ..convert people should come second.

all religions are cruel, undemocratic, dont believe in free speech, stupid, degrade women and nothing but a load of rubbish. this is what Thomas paine wrote in his book ' age of reason'

muslims believe that God sent an angel a to mohomed. christianity and judaism says the same about their religions. buddhists and hindus elevate their religions to godly plains. i for once dont believe in any of that nonsanse. man needs to be guided by his heart and not by any religion

what do you think of Thomas paine? ( by the way i am an ex muslim)

I am often told that I am somebody with outstanding listening skills.

One of my greatest sources of satisfaction is in deeply understanding people and their needs, and then artfully creating and brokering "deals" between people in a way that the needs of everybody involved are taken care of. I am only satisfied when everybody involved is winning in some way, and will not broker deals where somebody involved is losing.

I asked this before, but not in a good way I guess. Why do we
say this is, or is not in the Bible? But never have the Scripture to
back it up? Most people that do this to me won't even look
in the Bible.

Arabs and Jews lived in peace from ancient times till 1948;they coexisted well and i think they can;what is missing is a good faith, right politicians and itellectuals. They can live together and form one community.Even their language have similarity;many Arab wards are in Hebrow or vise versa.

how many sons for Abraham.
This verse says only ONE son.
GE 22:12 "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he(God) said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your ONLY son."
I have read it in context also. Before and after this verse.
GE 22:15 The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time 16 and said, "I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your ONLY son
Its actually makeing a point of it.
Did he have only ONE son or two?? (Ishmael the oldest)
If you are muslim, feel free to answer, I would like your view also, that would be great.
And before anyone says "in there laws the only one considered son was not born from a maidservant" or something like that... here is another verse, clearly calling Ishmael, Abrahams son.

GE 25:12 This is the account of Abraham's SON Ishmael, whom Sarah's maidservant, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham
thx
