The times have changed.
People do not eat crap anymore. They have started opening their eyes and questioning whatever is served.
The times of Darkness and the inquisition has past.
The "good times" for Christianity are over..... going for liquidation and bankrumpsy.

Most people now days seem brain dead to history. It is Christianity that has given us the freedoms we have. The Europeans flushed it down the toilet about a 100 years ago-they are now beginning to pay the price. In less than 50 years all of Europe will be Muslim, people and government. The United States is headed in the same direction. If we do not learn from Europe's mistakes we are doom to be just like them. The thoughts inside the heads of our young people has already been taken captive (especially the blacks). Its now just a matter of time. We must turn our young people. The liberal colleges and news media have poisoned them. They are sick. Most of our adults are too busy making a living. By the time they wake up-it may be too late. While our young soldiers are dying on the battlefield to keep us safe from Mohammedanism-our schools are indoctrinating our children against America.

I am with most part of what you have suggested already, that is, fearful people and economic. Largely I think it is because the Christian religions are better able commercially and expansively to promote themselves with financial means. And that most churches are set up almost like a commercial enterprise leaving very little to the real education of morality and spirituality. Sad.

There are about 2 billion Muslims, which is about 4 times the number of Christians, so why do you think Christianity is the most popular? Another 3 billion do not believe either Muslim or Christian ideas (India and China). Christianity is in decline.

It is not the most popular. More and more people are not accepting what they have been taught as children and are leaving the religion.
Islam is the most popular and the fastest growing religion, as it opens it's door to people who cannot accept Christianity. I think Judaism would grow equally as fast if they had a policy of wanting converts.

Because it is one of the most agressive religions the world has experienced.
It has stomped over and destroyed all the native beliefs of every country where it has established missionaries...this vandalism and the loss to anthropology is on an enormous scale...it has been devastating empire building on the part of the church with no care for the consequences.

It is the one religion that doesn't preach on killing others. It is a peaceful religion. It also tries to give guidance on how to live a good faithful life. Rather people listen to it or not, and the way today looks a lot of people haven't listened in a long time.

I thought you were wrong, but this link does seem to support
Christianity is gaining in 3rd world countries but less popular in industrialized.
It is the most heavily proselytized religion of all time, I personally don't understand its appeal to the gullible of the world.

Early on many people were killed and tortured to convert .
This is why the Christians have so many churches and money .Fear rules and Fear controls.
After time has past ,the converted actually believe what they are being told .
That`s how brainwashing works.
