Often being drunk you say stuff that you regret. We've all done it! said something to our friends that is hurtful etc. But do you think that when we're drunk what we say in this situation is rubbish influenced by our intoxication. OR is it what we REALLY think, and would never say in a face to face normal situation.

So in short, is mouthing off at people when you're drunk a load of meaningless nonsense, or being a bit Too honest?

For me it is to make a living wage. I do not require wealth, own a home or jet set about. Just a living wage, health care, a car that isn't a death trap, to pay my bills, and have a little money left over to go out on the weekend, take a class, a vacation once a year, and save for retirement. I am in my forties, well educated and skilled but have not been able to even get close to that small dream.. Why...becuze the American dream is dead...unless you are a money letching corporate whore... enuff said....

Are women to blame for the way that they are regarded - as sex objects worthy of nothing but hoovering and cooking? I see all these women, dressed in miniskirts showing their asses that complain when they get treated as a piece of meat by men. I don't blame men for the way that women are often portrayed, I blame women.

I married a christian girl and I'm an atheist. We have 2 kids and I rose them atheist, because I personally consider raising a child christian child abuse. My wife's okay with it and my 2 kids are happy and have no guilt doing anything. They're both 15 and 18 and the 18 year old is a registered dem like me. Not exactly a question, but we;re doing this project for Am. Lit. And we have to choose a certain tribe of the americas, and mine is the crow. we have to create a map that looks like it was from the 1500's, and i'm having trouble finding anything at all about the crow much less the map. I would refer to myself as a "floundering agnostic". Possibly a "fence sitter" and the fence post is jabbing me...so it's time to get off.....the fence that is....LOL!

I realize that atheists do not believe in god...however, do you believe in anything supernatural? Spirits, ghosts, the force, ESP, astrology, whatever? and if not...why not?

I'm not wording this correctly. Sorry. I'm hoping that your answers will help me wrap my mind around some concepts that are perplexing me.

Are they THAT afraid?

Do they really believe that giving their hard-earned money to this man's ministry gives them a free ticket to heaven, while Hinn flies in his private jet and lives a life of pure luxury off of their donations and entrance-fees to his 'rallies'?


Jesus was a simple man and cared nothing about earthly wealth.
Is Hinn ANYTHING like Jesus was?

This is the biggest scam I've ever seen, and I feel SO SORRY for those people who have fallen into his grip!

Can't they see they're dealing with a false prophet who has been predicting things that have never come to be true?

It's just so far beyond sad.

how are the people who were killed ever avenged? cuz God says "vengeance is mine". Since God is completely just how does he pay back the guy who becomes saved? Theres got to be somewhat of a punishment.
