Blood shed is not a pretty thing. Christians are the first to condem violence, but in everything they call for blood. Can it be right to be eating Jesus? Is it wise to make your children practice gun-killing rituals? Why practice vampire ones then? To say you drink ones blood implies murder and malevolence. Can't define it no other way!

I am wondering why people are so offended by men wearing womens cloths. i beleive in freedom of expresion. i am straight but i choose to wear skirts and other female things . If most of the cloths were transgender, everyone would get along alot better.

Is it wrong to pray that God take your life? I'm not ill or anything like that. I just don't feel very useful to my family,friends, or people in general, but I don't necessarily want to commit suicide. So I pray that he takes my life and spares somebody elses.

I think it is unhealthy to instill so much vanity and shallowness into young children. Why not teach them to excell at a sport, or hobby, instead of implying that their greatest asset is their looks?

one of my friend got really pissed at me for telling her about the theory of evolution after my bio class saying "ITS JUST A THEORY!" and the other keep inviting me to seminars like "evolution vs creationism" despite countless times which when i come out... i still favour evolution more.

I personally think that the theory is completely elegant and explains alot of things in life. but if they don't like it.. why also try to get me out of it? I don't get it.

doesn't evolution make sense in christainity? why hate it so much when it explains the world of biology?

What about genocide? It's "OK" as long as you get down on your knees and ask God's forgiveness? How many atrocities are possible by a people who believe they will be forgiven and they can go to heaven if they repent later?

Personally, I don't believe in a soul. But it seems to me that the idea of a soul was created because people didn't like the idea of death being the end. Your brain shuts down and nothing exists anymore. If you're having trouble grasping this concept, it's like you go to sleep and don't dream, and never wake up. You don't know when you're asleep and not dreaming, just like you wouldn't have a clue that you're dead.

So is a soul really just a way to help people get over their fear of dying? They know that if they die, at least some part of them exists still so they're kind of still alive?

So. B's (Southern Baptists) formed the Southern Baptist church in 1845 to defend the antebellum practices of slavery and racism. It wasn't until 1995 that they renounced their racist roots.

So how do you defend the existence of such a church?
