Heaven is a thought meant to condole people. there is no proof of it existing, but there is nothing saying anything against it. if anyone has been to heaven and returned to earth, then they were probably killed or locked up as lunatics or heretics. the only person we might say was *from* heaven was the christian's Jesus Christ, who supposedly came down from heaven, then ascended. in egyptian mythology however, the underworld might be closest to what we consider heaven, a place where the dead live eternaly. osiris, the king of the gods, was murdered on earth by his brother seth who wanted to become king of the gods. osiris died and went to the underworld. as his sister, isis was bringing him from the underworld, the god of wisdom, thoth, came and told her that no man who had seen the land of the dead should return to earth and walk with the living again. so different religions have believe different things. many believe that once someone leaves this realm, that they can't return. Today and hundreds of years ago, society would consider someone who returned from heaven a lunatic, heretic, or stoner.

When I was 7 or 8 years old, I dreamed I went to the Christian Heaven my maternal grandfather, a Baptist pastor, discussed. I was one of only 200 or less people who had made it to such a strict place. Before the first day was over, everyone, except me, had been thrown out, and I was lonely with only Yahweh the Hebrew god and his nine levels of angels for company. I would prefer to go to Moslem Heaven and have 72 houris, rather than the grim Baptist Christian Heaven-really another Hell-where pleasure and fun are wrong. No one is able to follow the strict stuff, so no one can go or remain there...and who would want to do so? Tom Sawyer told his Aunt Polly that he didn't want to sit on a cloud playing a harp forever. I don't either, but my sister would be satisfied to sing hymns forever...or so she believes, but really doing it might be disappointing. As I said, I'll take 72 houris. There are near death experiences in which people claim they've seen an afterlife, but one can account for that by mental delusions. Never resort to the supernatural when natural explanations do as well or better. No one can prove he has been to any heavens. There are delusions and hoaxes galore in many areas, e.g. heavens, hells, UFO's, Bigfoot, crop circles, Atlantis, Loch Ness Monsters, ghosts, etc., etc., ad nauseum. It is easy to see why a religious leader, e.g. Jesus or Mohammed, would want people to believe he had been to Heaven...or why his followers would concoct such fantasies if the leaders didn't themselves.

Some people have been there & some who have wrote about it. I haven't. To some it happens during what has been called 'near-death experience', while they are about to die (don't ask me) but science has dismissed the event, said it's all in the mind. Some people 'went' to heaven while in a normal state of mind. You can read about it in the book of Revelations in the Bible. Many other heaven experiences have been written.

No proof. But visit your local library. There are lots of books on "Near Death Experiences" that describe the thoughts of people who think or know they have visited heaven.

I think it would be really hard to prove. But I also think that heaven is what you make of it. I have no problem with believing in a beautiful place in the afterlife, but you are meant to stay there once you get there.

Only once in my sleep. I dreamt I was walking among the clouds and I came upon a huge park with a wonderful fence around it, and at the main gates to the park was a sign that read, "Garden of Eden".
And lo and behold, there sat Adam and Eve, talking about the good old days.
I distinctly remember hearing her ask him, "Did you really love me?"
And he said, "Who else!?"
Then they started to argue about whose parent's they should go to for Thanksgiving, so I left because I hate arguing.

I flew to buttercup mountain and swam in a sea of icecream with scoobie doo in a dream... does that mean its true as well???
What ever you do in a dream is in the mind its scientifically proven, and if its not then.. proove it!
I would beleve that people have died and come back though not sure if they made it to heaven.. i thought if you got to heaven that was it then no turning back.

My mom said she has when she was 16 , but then when she came back down God erased most of what happend. He asked if she wanted to stay or go back to earth. Thats what she said, so i kinda believe it (not sure though)
