Yes, if you ask very young children who have had no religious training they will often tell you about what it was like before they were born. I was skeptical of this, but a three year old proved me wrong.

i believe every cild has a soul before they were born. when having abortion the child does stay fetus foreever. i bewhat ur saying its not right at all for a child unborn in another word a fetus to rot a be tortured in hell. In my opinion abortion is murder, justified or not. I believe in the right of the unborn child and I feel that a mother should carry the baby to full term and then, if unable to care for the child, put it up for adoption. I can think of only one specific case when abortion was justified. abortion is a matter of life and death.To let your child live or to kill your own child is not a simple choice. It is one of the most important choices a woman will ever have to make. so this is my opianian someone might fight me with this they have the right to have an opianian everyone does. abortion well alway be a ungoing question.
hope this answers ur question take care.

hmmmmm very interesting question. Catholics believe you have a soul from creation. That soul would go back to heaven, and back into the Hall Of Souls, innocence that was murdered. I myself personally feel that those babies go to a better place. If God is an all forgiving God, then he knows that #1 babies don't ask to be created or born, and #2 that they are helpless and completely dependent upon us, so is is our sin, not that of the child. I also believe in reincarnation, There are only so many souls in the Hall of Souls, and I believe our souls are reused over and over, which explains why people have flashes of past lives. so yes your child already has a soul waiting for him or her. Hope I helped.

First of all, an aborted fetus would not be sent to hell. It is considered "murdered" and therefore dies with it's soul purified. Simply put it did not reach the age of accountability. Therefore, it would not have had the time to learn about GOD in a human form yet and could not be held responsible for the original sin it would have been born under ( I believe that would be correct Catholic doctrine.) Anyway, GOD knows the heart of everyone and held them in HIS hands before they were born. So, GOD would know there true nature and be able to take it from there.

Aristotle had the most brilliant definition of the soul I have ever seen. He said the soul can be defined as the function of the form. "Form" is the physical structure of an object.
The function of the form of a tree is photosynthesis and swaying beautifully in the breeze. That is the soul of a tree. The function of the human form (the human body) is much more dynamic and includes locomotion, seeing, tasting, hearing, art, reason, reproduction, etc. That is the human soul.
Therefore, based on Aristotle's definition of the soul, your future child (prior to conception) does NOT have a soul.
Your mission is simply to help your child's soul come into being by using your body (and that of another of the opposite sex) as a template for your child's form. Once your child is born into the world, his/her soul will flourish- hopefully into eternal greatness like Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci and Einstein have from the output of their souls.
By the way, your child, as a product of your form & soul, becomes your afterlife (in the same manner that Aristotle's and Einstein's ideas and Da Vinci's art are their afterlife).

No.. Your kids in 5+- years from now dont have a soul yet.
Yes.. A fetus does have a soul..(I say no to abortion)
Abortion is murder. You wont go to hell if you were murdered & neither will aborted babies, they're innocent. However the aborter will defenitelty have some explaining to do on judgement day.

they have souls because sometimes a mom gets a "fetus-kick" but they are in a subconscious state... sort of when you are sleeping and you don't really know anything. if you believe in incarnation... this is the state where most souls forget about their past life's memory because they have been in a subconsious state for too long and they forget about who they were.
I guess the fetus that died might stay as a ghost for a while and reincarnate into something else after a period of time.
if they rebirth into human form again... they'd have the chance to do good and then go to nirvana (sorta like heaven)/

hello:}
a soul is indeed eternal and the soul maps out the direction it needs to take to evolve so it will choose it's parents and place of birth etc etc .
the difference is as in life when something is not as the soul agreed to a shift takes place and so the spirit/soul will abort the fetus [miscarraiges ,sids etc etc ].
sometimes to an advanced soul will agree to come down for a short period in order for its death [here on earth]to be of great benefit for learning to those around it .
the soul can come in just before birth or shortly after ,,,,,,,
no soul truly perishes ,,,,evil and dark souls after many times on the unhealthy negative planet may get absorbed back into the universal consciousness ,,,,,,,[which is God}.....while enlightened souls continue to expand their horizons [thats another story ].
but NO way do souls get left to burn in some sort of hell they actually avoided hell which is here on earth !!!
the other side is a place of learning and growing and choices and sometimes the choices we make [like abortion]are really too benefit our own path ,our own learning for our soul ,,,,,,,,the aborted fetus does not have a soul yet .......................
just some extra thoughts for you .

I dont believe so, the 'soul' is just the personality/essence of a person when they are a fetus and still just an infant they havent developed any sort of personality they are just surviving on instinct, eat, sleep, **** the 'soul' is developed later

I think God is much wiser than our puney minds give him credit for. Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from youwhen I was made in the secret place.When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,your eyes saw my unformed body.Unborned children go to heaven I believe
