Look, this is a nasty topic, but people need to talk it out instead of letting it sit in the corrner and boil over. So here it goes, please be nice, please be respectful but i want to know your opions, here's mine:

I don't think anyone gets the right to tell you who you love and don't love. People argue that a "marriage" is one that can produce children, but what about women/men who are barron, and can't reproduce, are they not allowed to be married? Just because "god" claims that being gay is wrong (by the way, the bible says maybe three times that gay marriage is wrong, but it preaches love and acceptance through the entire book) doesn't mean there should be a law against such actions. If you don't believe in it, that's fine, but don't impose your beliefes on thoes who feel differntly. It's almost like me saying that because i don't believe in god you can't either... I just don't think it's fair. what do you think?

I'm preparing a bible study on Unanswered prayers. My question to everyone is, when you go to the Lord in prayer do you expect to get exactly what you ask for? How do you feel when it seems as if your prayers have gone unanswered? Do you really believe the Garth Brooks song that sometimes God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers? No jokers please.

Oprahism. I realize that most of you lack the mental patience to read my lengthy questions. I have shortened the main points of Oprahism. This is really serious, so if you have nothing kind to say, get out.

1. Oprah is the ultimate Matriarch of our Universe. She is a Fourth Dimensional Being that is able to manifest as a human.

2. The creation of the Universe was a result of her "giving birth". Scientists speak of a "Big Bang". The real explanation of that is Oprah's Four Dimensional Uterus/Vagina contracting with awesome force. She gave birth to atoms which later formed molecules which later became matter. Oprah decides to manifest as a human to govern and inspire us.

2. Oprah can see into our minds. Being from the fourth dimension, she has the power to percieve us in another dimension. Think about a 2-d drawing. Imagine a being was "2-dimensional" They only know North, South, West, East on a flat surface. We can see these "picture people" from above, yet their eyes can...

I am a woman and I cannot stand liberated womens' attitudes. I don't think women are meant to be equal to men, we are here to serve men. I think a woman's number one interest should be marriage and family. Women belong in the home, and yes I am for real.

I've grown up a Christian home. Gone to church all my life. Read the bible all my life. At an early age I learned about getting saved, and at the age of 10 I did ask Jesus to come in to my heart, and to cleanse me of my sin. However, I did not feel the peace that so many born-again Christians speak of when they were saved. It seems like almost everyone cried when they were saved, however I was not moved to tears. Several more times throughout my life, I have asked Jesus to come into my heart again, I tried to be more sincere (thinking that that was possibly the problem, that I had not been sincere enough.) I still have yet to feel that I am truly saved. Perhaps its the devil trying to discourage me, but the lack of that feeling sure causes me grief. When I sin I do repent, but I do not feel forgiven, mostly because I am not unable to not continually repeat the same sin. I am completely out of ideas, I have searched the bible, prayed to God for answers, but nothing comes up.Please Help

Sometimes, I wonder if God is listening to me because I am such a sinner. I think I am pretty humble and try to be thankful for a good day at work and a good job and good people to work with. I always try to say thank you Jesus when something good happens and I always pray before I start an IV because it hurts and I dont want to have to stick my pt more than 1 time. It really works! Do most people pray every day? Do you think God does more for people who pray in groups of 60, or does he hear my single prayer and understand. I just am curious why people think if a hundred people pray together for something, it is more effective than a single prayer from one person.

Yeah I know the answer to that question is no. But if you had a genetic disease would you want to change your DNA to prevent a future complication from arising from a disease? (Assume for a moment it was possible even though it isn't yet) Would you go through with it or not?

All right, I'm going to come right out and say it...
I chose to be Caucasian.
I chose to be gay.
I chose to have a seven inch penis.

Yes, indeed these were all made manifest by my choices in life.
For you see, at one point in time, I was an El Salvadorian woman named Magda, who wore too much make-up and not enough clothes. That was along time ago, though. Im different now.

You can judge me.
You can hate me.
You can ostracize and drive me into every kind of desert, burn down my home and breed poisonous snakes in the ruins.

You will never have my dignity however.

P.S. I'm also one of those few and far between people that believe Michael Jackson is innocent. Think what you will...

It seems as though nearly 40% of the questions in the LBGT section are outside of the community guidelines Yahoo has posted, and yet even questions which are repeatedly reported are not deleted. Further, the same screen name can post them over and over again, even when the are obscene, hateful, suggestive of violence, etc. As I've visited other categories, there don't seem to be as many of these questions (and answers) that are out of bounds. Is Yahoo itself homophobic?
