You can't because they have problems and are self centered and blind. Try to stay away from people that are too serious or just mean

Pray for them! Some people will be difficult just for the sake of aggravating you. If you realize that a person will not listen to what you are trying to tell them (if this be the case), then you might as well give up; and leave them in the Lord's hands. For some people are as stubborn as a tree, when you try to be reasonable with them. When I see that I am making no progress when I am trying to talk to a difficult or unreasonable person, I usually just give up and pray for God to open their eyes. For we cannot change people; only God can. I hope this has helped you.

This question is way too broad. In what context, and what do they do that's difficult?
This question could be asking several thousand distinct questions, each of which has its own answer. The best answer -- "don't" -- doesn't work if they are people you can't avoid.
If there's some particular thing you need help with, give us some details so we know what you're talking about.
If you're just seeing what people say in response to a vague question, have fun.

listen to what they have to say without judging it right away. if at all possible try to see things from their point of view. (this can feel virtually impossible if their opinions are diametrically opposed to yours, but it helps if you can attempt to comprehend what a person thinks and what influenced them to think this way.) it may also be useful not to just wait for your chance to negate everything they say. attempt to engage in an intelligent dialogue where everyone's views are aired.
other than that, just try not to knock their block off. stay as diplomatic and patient as possible. maybe you'll even get to the bottom of why they act like such a horse's **** and find a better means to relate to them

That depends. If they're your run-of-the-mill difficult, unreasonable people, avoid them at all costs.
If they're like these terrorist guys they just caught in England, then it's two in the chest and one in the head. Tap, tap, tap.

I have found these type of people like to be heard, therefore if I can't avoid them, I usually just listen, and make it like I don't know anything. They usually quiet down after a bit, and/or I usually have things to do, so I exit politely.

I chose not to deal with them at all... I do have a tip!
Imagine that you are a doctor and this person is your mental patient. You cannot really be mad at this person, all you have to do is talk to him with a nice impersonal smile.
