Rational people, worldwide, know very well that the doctrines of Islam directly give rise to more violence than any other religion, yet because Islam is called a "religion" it is protected from scrutiny.

We absolve Islam when believers take the Quran's exhortations to violence seriously...shouldnt it be the opposite? Bin Laden would probably be just a quite insecure shy man if not for Islam. Bin Laden isnt using Islam...Islam is usuing Bin Laden.

Some people rationalize that the terrorists would be doing violence otherwise, if they werent using Islam as an excuse....that may be true for Abu Zaraqawi who was a criminal before joining Islam but most of these other terrorist leaders dont have that background....their just insecure guys that Islam took advantage of. They just take the Quran literally...thats it...

If we dont deal with the root cause...we cant beat this...we really cant. Look, read the Quran...read it...Islamic violence makes a lot more sense after you read it.

Atheism, Humanism, Socialism, and Evolution propose that either God does not exist, or that he is someone or something other than what he claims to be in His word (the Bible). Rather than everything centering around an Almighty Invisible Being who is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, and to whom we will ALL one day be accountable, such philosophies place MAN as the one who "calls the shots" and is in absolute control of not only his individual destiny, but the world as well. Such phrases as "believe in yourself", "knowledge is power" and the entire concept of "self esteem" sound real good on the surface, but if these things be true, and we are indeed "evolving higher and higher", then WHY is our world only becoming progressively WORSE? Could it be that we, as a race, are NOT "all wise" and "all powerful" as we like to believe, but instead are very fallible and sinful, and thus, hopeless and helpless on our own? Could it be that we really DO need a Saviour (Jesus Christ)?

I have noticed a very high percentage of responses to people's questions that seem to be coming from atheistic viewpoints. If a person doesn't believe in the existence of God, why would they "waste" their time in this category? I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, and I don't waste my time trying to convince E-Bunnians of their foolish beliefs.

So if YOU are an atheist, and you are reading this, please share with those who will read this your reasons for being here. Also, if you would, could you explain why you are trying to convince those of us who are happy in our relationship with God, why we would be better off living like an atheist, with nothing to look forward to, and nothing better to do with our lives than to grab all the crumbs we can before we die. If you have intelligent responses, please share. Otherwise, you're better off finding a simpler question where you have a chance at grabbing 10 points.

The churches have the money so why dont they buy the air time to preach the gospel. More sinners are watching secular tv and not Christian tv. They are watching porn, murders, rapes the whole secular evil world. Wouldn't Commercials telling them to repent or burn in HELL help out? What do you think we as Christians could actually make this happen? I know prayer and God are first !
but what

Who is responsible for daily acts of sin tha we commit? Us or demons/spirits?

Do you think that sin is a product of our human lack of self control , our innate selfish desires and egos or do you think it is as a result of seeds/thoughts/whisperings of the devil/demons /spirits/external powers etc that tempt us daily?

Sometimes I know I have to check/scold myself when I think of doing something negative and I can track the origin of that negative thought or action, other times I wonder where the heck the thought even came from in the first place.

This question is not for people that don't believe in the existence of supernatural beings, and your responses are not wanted/expected/needed/neccessary/appreciated.

Thanks.

This world is so confused, no body has any answers. The answers they give raise empty questions. None of us will ever know the meaning nor the reason of existence. All we can do is guess. In the end, all that matters is what we did for ourselves and loved ones. Believe in God and you'll be empowering religion, empower religion and you'll be feeding an endless cycle of suffering unto yourselves. For religion doesn't love anyone, it only uses everything. Prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right.
