Alt.com would be an excellent place for you both to learn about the lifestyle and possibly find good partners.
Good luck!

Well, you posted on Religion and Spirituality, so, from that perspective, I think it is wrong and a sin. Both the being bisexual and also being with others. Marriage, shouldn't be open, other wise, what is the point of getting married?

Why would you ask a bunch of strangers their opinion? All that's going to happen is that you'll be beaten down for even considering it... it IS an unpopular idea. I say if you're both comfortable with the idea, go for it. But I really hope that Yahoo answers won't have any real influence on your decision.
Good luck.

I guess I just don't see the point. The point of being married if you're going to have multiple partners, I mean. Especially emotional relationships.
But hey, to use the YA phrase of the day, if it feels good, do it! If your marriage ends, so be it. You'll have had fun, and hopefully it won't end acrimoniously.

If you both want it, and will be ok with the other investing time into a different relationship, then go for it.
Your two consenting adults. You, and only you know what's good and bad for your marriage.

Even if you do not believe in God and the Bible, you have to admit that what you are suggesting is very dangerous. STD's are rampant in the world today, I would suggest that you take a visit to one of the free clinics in your area that treats STD patients and inquire about just how big a problem it is. I hope that after that, you feel differently about what you are suggesting.

Well, if you are atheists then your vows were made only to each other. So........if you break them the only consequences are those from each other. Therefore if you both consent to an open relationship, you may as well call it that.
Marriages by definition are not polyamorous.
Go swing and call it what it is.

that would absolutely destroy the idea of a healthy monogamous relationship, i have no problem with gays, lesbians or bisexuals but to ruin something you exclusively share with another human being is wrong, it means you probably don't love them enough to have married them in the first place.
good luck â¥

Why do atheists post such questions on a religious section? To provoke a reaction?

They ruin the idea of marriage. If you wanted to play around, you should have stayed single.
