My husband and I have been married for 10 years. When he was a chid he went to the mormon church. He stopped at the age of 13. In ten years we have never been left alone by them. They are at our house 3-4 times a week, thats just the missionaries. We also get assigned teacher families and get phone calls. I've been nice and I've been mean. We have called people, to try to get off of whatever list we are on. We have written letters and posted signs on our door and fence. It may seem like I'm being anal, but It's a serious annoyance. We moved to the country to get away, and yet I see mormons more than my own family, we have movedfour times while we have been married and they find us every time. Has anyone gotten rid of these people before, or will they intrude in my life forever?

I am a Jehovah's Witness and she is a Southern Baptist. I have shown her that all of her beleifs are nothing but tradition, not christian roots. And she still is strong minded on her celebrations such as Christmas which is well known not to be a christian beleif.

Benedict's is the first Pope of the communication age to plunge heavy into politics. The moment an actor takes a political position, either left or right, he immediately polarizes close to half his fan base...it appears this Pope is the first to be stupid enough to fall into this trap.

I was a catholic...but am agnostic now, however, as many people, I still had some modicum of sympathy or loyalty to the church until Bendict. He was the final severance for me...and now i just lie to my older mother when she asks. His political views make him no better than a Mullah and in my view, in this new communication age, he could well end the the church.

If you apologize for Benedict, thats your choice but in my view, hes ignorant as hades and likely an anti-semite. Whether hes anti-semitic or not, i now have the taste in my mouth I had after I heard Johnny Depp hate on America and say, among other thing, he would never ever raise his kids in America.

I have. many many times.
He even got me safely home one night when I drank too much.
I drank the last of my money and had to walk home. (my fault, stupid choices.)
Anyway I was walking through a very dangerous part of town and I started to get very scared. I asked God if he would help get me safely home. (I got down on my knees on the footpath at 3am)
He said (or a voice said) : "Keep walking, look in the gutter."
2 minutes later I found 20 bucks and caught a cab home.

I read an article saying blacks thins SATs are a biased test. WTF? How are math and english culturally biased? You either learned or didn't. Isn't adding points to a score because one is a minority so they can getting in a school the equivlant of saying, "Hey you played shitty ball in High School, so we will put you on a pro team and you will play better."? And if it is culturally biased why can i get a kid from Korea or Sweeden that dont even speak english as a first language that would blow most American scores out of the water? Please no "blacks are stupid" responses I want real reasons as to how this arguement has any credence.

In a few years can u see people who hate homosexuals equal to those who hated African American years back?
I just have a feeling that once the world is able to finally accept homosexuals as they are and stop all the discrimination today I believe that things are going to be looked back on time todaya dn see people who hated homosexuals to be just as merciless as people who hated aferican americans years ago. (not that hate will ever end sadly)
