I really feel love and compassion in my heart for those who don't have the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.

It is hard for me to remember what life was like before Jesus, but I remember the confusion and desperation I felt when my life wasn't going the way I wanted.

When I realize that the rock solid foundation my life has now, is something I used to not have, I just want others to feel the freedom and security I havel to live my life to the fullest.

How can I not tell people about something as wonderful as that?

the Jews killed Jezebel and the followers of her religion honoring Baal and many other gods and goddesses because they would not convert to a monotheistic religion. jezebel was the queen of Israel and a very powerful woman who was thrown out of a window and eaten by dogs. the bible explains that it was because she was evil. I maintain she was murdered because she was a woman with power who worshipped male and female deities. She would not submit to Judeism and it's one male god. Her name became synonymous with bad women (did that mean women with decision-making power?) and Mary, mother and wife of god evenually became the dominant figure of a good and compliant woman.

Coes anyone see what I am driving at? Please comment (intelligent, thoughtful answers -PLEASE!)

Revelation 13
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

With all the discussion of gay marraige and the definition of marriage it made me remember something.

I recall a documentary where this couple in Isreal didn't want to have an orthodox wedding but if they didn't have one their marraige wouldn't be recognized by the state. So they had two weddings one to be recognized by the state and another for them personally. Is this truely the law in Isreal?

It just makes me wonder in all the debate going on here in America. You get a marraige certificate for legal reasons in this country and it has nothing to do with religion. You get married by a pastor, priest, whatever to have you marraige sanctioned by god. If you only have a wedding certificate you marriage isn't in "the eyes of god". If you get married at a church your marraige isn't recognized by the state. I just don't understand if the church and state don't recognize the others "marraige" anyways why does the church care what the state does.

I understanding a good deal about religion, more than some about the occult, a little bit about magical systems (a few of them at best). So what’s up with Satanism? I know this is kind of “jackass-ish” question, but do you get the Heaven if your bad? What do you get out of it???

Most of the information on the Israeli queen, Jezebel that is available on the net comes directly from Jewish writings. Did they consider her evil and ultimately murder her because she resisted being swayed from her own religion? Did it have to do with the fact that there were many important goddesses in her religion? Did men need to control women so thoroughly that they insisted that there was one god and he was male?

My boyfriend is Indian, and I don't know whether it's appropriate to hold hands in front of his extended family. I know things like that would be fine in front of my family, though.

Don't be modest please. And don't give me that old, "nothing, I was just saved by Jesus" or "God, judges us not on our works but by our faith." Blah, blah, blah. You know that you have to have at least a few good works stored up to get you to the big palace in the sky.

So, what have you done?

They hide stuff. The romans kept really good records. In the records it showed that there was a concubine. (I dont know if I said that right)
A concubine was a women who was used as sex anytime the men wanted it. The apostles used concubines. Why isnt this discussed? Is this not important? And the church is ran by all gays. A priest who gives up sex for life is gay. Always around little boys, seem interesting? The priest who married my Mom and Dad molested 3 boys. You know what the Catholic Church did to punish him? They made him head of a boy's retreat. How could the Catholic Church be harsh on him, there all ran by fags and wouldnt do that to one of their own.

People justify things using the Bible as if it is fact, when really the Bible is merely a group of stories decided upon by a single bishop in history. I mean, if the book of Revelation wasnt included in the Bible, then people who believe in it wouldnt still have the same concept of apocalypse. Any thoughts?

Recently, I have been confused. I feel as if there is something greater I can be doing right now, like something is missing in my life. I pray to God to try to find what this is, but I still don't know. Any words of encouragement? Will you pray for me so I find what I need to?

In the awesome name of Jesus Christ.

God Bless.
