well, i guess they're meant for entertainment...i normally watch beauty pageants with other people, and we have fun judging the girls....so, i guess the world benefits fun from it....

Well I don't think so...
All people watch them for is to see little wemon who live off ice cubes for weeks at a time parade around in swim suits. I see nothing positive in beauty pagents...
They also preasure young wemon to be a certain way. And that if they aren't like that then they aren't "cool" and that any other way of thinking is wrong....
SO I THINK THAT MY ANSWER EXPLAINED ITSELF.......

I don't really know, but sometimes I like to watch it and judge them who is better... Maybe fun and entertainment
