Most of the information on the Israeli queen, Jezebel that is available on the net comes directly from Jewish writings. Did they consider her evil and ultimately murder her because she resisted being swayed from her own religion? Did it have to do with the fact that there were many important goddesses in her religion? Did men need to control women so thoroughly that they insisted that there was one god and he was male?

Because 95% of websites interested in biblical scholarship are run by biblical literalists.

If you're a college student, you might try www.basarchive.org, although only a few schools have access to it. The articles in BAR and BR are a bit more... balanced. Unless the topic is that idiotic ossuary.

You did not tear a ligament; if that was the case, you would not be able to walk. You had what is called a subluxation of the patella, or kneecap, probably due to jerking your leg when you got out of bed. Dislocation can cause significant pain - as you described - and could also lead to inflammation, similar to a sprain or strain, due to damage of the surrounding tissues, which is why you still have mild pain, It seems you were lucky because in some cases there can be severe swelling.. Do NOT apply heat - apply an ice pack as long as comfortable to prevent any further inflammation. As interim measures, you could also take an anti-inflammatory, such as diclofenac (Voltaren), or even Aspirin if you are ok with it. As soon as possible, go to a doctor and have it looked at, even maybe get a scan/x ray, just in case, although since you are able to walk it seems you were lucky. The doctor may give you a small elastic knee brace to stabilise the patella for about a week or so, if necessary. Be careful, try not to run or put pressure on the knees, and be careful when you get out of bed! Easy does it. Good luck, get better!

Sounds personal. I do not know anyone who does not see why evil could be synonomous with Jezebel. If you take thime to read about her, you would see how offense her actions were and what her antics caused others to suffer. No wonder she was done away with. Power DOES corrupt.
