I think people can fall in love with people of either gender. Most of us are more or less heterosexual, but I also have known people of both genders who have considered themselves straight but who fell in love with someone of the same sex. In most cases, this wasn't the person they ended up spending their life with, but that doesn't mean it wasn't love, or wasn't a beautiful and wonderful experience in their life's journey. Maybe you are lesbian, maybe you are bisexual, maybe this will be the only time in your life that you will love another woman. Whatever it is, if it is mutual and respectful for each other, it will ultimately help you to grow spiritually. I've never been able to believe that a God who would put so much care and effort into creating us and giving us free will would have any reason to punish us into eternity for loving another person.

The last place you should be asking this question is in the religion section. Religious people hate homosexuals. Sure some to dress it up or dance around it or talk about hating the sin not the sinner and all that crap. But it all comes out to the same thing in the end: intolerance.
If you are a lesbian then you are a lesbian. You cannot help that and no amount of praying, self loathing, will power or soul searching is going to change the essence of who and what you are. If there is a God, then He made you this way.
So don't get all hung up about Hell, and live your life. Love the people you want to love, and don't let a bunch of bigots tell you what to think.

Only if you get time to repent. Being intimate with the same gender is considered an abomination in the eyes of God. Because of sin and being born into it, some things seem natural for some people such as homosexuality. However, when you are born again into Jesus Christ, you become aware of the truth and you hate the things of the sin nature. God at some point in time will make all people aware of the truth. It is at that time that you get an opportunity to make a decision. God does not force Himself on anybody, but He allows all people to make their own choice.

That is a delicate question, and though some answers are pure bullshpit(hell doesn't exist! BAH!), the truth is that god made a man, and a woman. Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve, not Adamette and Eve. God bombed Sodom and Gomorrah for their flagrant Homosexuality - that puts up a li'l red flag, now don't it?
I think that the truth is that you are just a bit confused. Or maybe really confused. Anyway, just pray to God to set you strait (in the best sense) and if you try to keep God's natural laws to the Extent of your capabilities, he will give you mercy.

Agreed, hell doesnt exist. But homosexuality isnt even a sin anyways. I mean, why would God care whether you loved a guy or a girl? Is it really relevant? With all the murders, thievery, etc. going on... I think God could care less about your sexual preference.

No. Hell doesn't exist. And if it exists, and it is the Christian hell you're concerned with, God will forgive you for all of your sins if you accept Jesus Christ as your savior, according to the Bible.

If you beleive in him, and repent for your sins, you will not go to hell.
