I was told by a Christian:

We must worship God
But since we are impure, we cannot worship God directly so we should worship Jesus instead
But then later on he says Jesus is God.

Wow! Rewind please
Let’s review, he said we must worship God, but we cannot worship him directly so we should worship Jesus but later on he said Jesus is God.

So what does it mean?
We cannot worship Jesus as well because he is God and God cannot be worshiped directly.
But since we see that people do worship Jesus, concluding (according to Christian views) that Jesus must not be God as he is worshipped directly.

why aren't the dinosaurs mentioned in the bible? could it be that the bible is the work of men, rather than the word of god?

This idea of loving the sinner and hating the sin, if the so-called sin is ingrained into the sinner's heart and soul?

I'm convinced this is meaningless rhetoric, a weak attempt at diplomacy. Show me that I can be wrong.

I was just thinking of making it possible to enjoy the Christmas season without going bankrupt. Would the kids hate us or appreciate the season more? Two of my children already know about Santa. The other two are old enough that it wouldn't hurt them to know the truth. Would I be wrong for changing the tradition in mainstream? Any ideas how to go about doing it?

thanks for your answer -i cry for all people and my Jewish people to believe Isaiah 52 vas13-53vs12 "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man and lay down his life as our sacrifice to make atonement for our souls."
didnt you ever think of how great his love is caring and sharing-not some that hate him and hurt others using his name so we will hate Jesus
Jesus says-"Behold i stand at your life's door and knock, if you pray and let me in, i will deliver you from past and all sins, and become your friend." Revelation 3 vs19&20 so i prayed to the Messiah-- Jesus come into my heart, im sorry for my sins, help me and be my friend, amen.
and it happened now life is grand really wonderfull thanks for your prayers and caring enough to share-i had everything but true inner peace and happiness till i came to Jesus. Money and more but in my heart i was empty. be great and remember Jesus loves you unconditionally ohh yesss

Because there are many religions and they all think that they have the true religion.
So...... do you believe yours is the true one, or can you still be flexible enough to see that you might be wrong?

So what if you prove evolution wrong (which is going to be hard as we know it is real) it still doesn't make you right until you find some evidence to support your theory that god exists (which is going to be hard because he doesn’t)

Mainstream Muslims, Jews and Christians seem to be united on one issue above all: Homosexuals are evil. I'm aware their holy books all condemn such practices, but is God offended? After all, He created the world in all its diversity, including an amazing range of sexual behaviours amongst the plant, insect & animal kingdoms. He also creates a large number of humans with born sexual preference for others of the same gender. If we accept there is a difference between homosexuality (i.e. people are born that way) and perversions (distortions created by reactions to abuse or other life events) - and I'm sure some of you won't, but anyway - then homosexuals are part of his creation (unless Satan was somehow in on the conception). Is God really so small-minded about these matters... or is the creator of the entire universe and everything in, well, bigger than that?
