It could be any number of things, but often I chalk dreams up to being dreams. And nothing more. Of course they COULD be your subconscious mind trying to tell you something, but more often than not, you had a dream that probably didn't even involve sexual stimulation with another woman. Most dreams, as we remember them, are NOT the dreams as they occurred. We put dream events together after we wake up, and it's likely that you dreamed something totally unrelated to THAT, but it just so happens that the strongest images from multiple dreams added up to a rather...um...confounding erotic dream.
The question to consider, however, isn't whether you had this dream or not, or whether there's somethig wrong. Heck, this isn't even a real question of your sexuality, BUT the thing go consider is how you felt AFTER the dream. Does the thought of such stimulation cause a particularly strong feeling in you now, when you're awake? Is that feeling able to be interpreted as desire? If not, honestly, then it's likely that you were simply dreaming and nothing more. But if in your waking hours you find that you ARE having thoughts of a non-heterosexual nature, and are enjoying what they imply, then you're not as straight as you might think and you need to honestly explore the possibility that you've submerged a true part of your nature. From what you have written above, however, I don't think that your orientation is truly in question--and if it is, it's for YOU to figure out, rather than for some guy at a keyboard answering questions to say.
And as for dreams...well...I've had a few that left me stumped, including dreams of extreme violence that I find patently distasteful. What I learned from those dreams is that there is really no telling what your mind will conjure up as you process the information of the day while sleeping.

Not at all.
I was 17 when I finally came to terms with my being a lesbian and throughout my 20s did a lot of research on this. Here are a few things I learned.
This is a very common problem that causes confusion in society and especially with adolescents. The fact of the matter is that it is very very normal for BOTH sexes to have sexual thoughts about the same sex. This occurs most of the time during the teenage years but normally happens all your life.
This does NOT mean you are gay. It actually means you are just normal. Note: most men won't admit this but it is a fact.

No, dreams don't always mean what the scene would suggest. There is likely some other reason for your dream, and I wouldn't worry too much unless it becomes recurrent. You're not likely to be gay if this is the first gay fantasy/dream you've had in a life with a marriage and kids.

Did you ever experiment with any of the girls whilst you were at school or basically did you ever experiment with any of the other girls whilst you were younger? because maybe if you didnt then maybe its got something to do with your subconscious self just wondering what the experience would be like.
Please dont take that too seriosly as i am not 100% sure but if you want me to when i get back home as im out at the moment i can have a look in one of my dream books for you and tell you exactly what it says in there, maybe then that will put your mind at ease. Would you like me to do that for you?
Let me know ok. xxxxxx

You may be sexually discontent. Dreaming of being gay could mean you are not satisfied with life. You may want to try something new. Dreaming gay may be one of the projection of something "NEW", however it may not mean it is about sex. However, most likely, it is a sex issue. Especailly in your dream, being gay in a male part could mean you want to 'TAKE OVER', or 'CONTROL' people, your spouse in particular.
I could be wrong, but this is how I see from your dream

Dreams are dreams.
A person might have a dreams that giant cockroaches flew down and bit the dreamers head off doesnt mean that that is what the dreamer wants.

Usually if a woman who is straight dreams about being sexual with another woman, it isn't about sex at all. Your subconcious is telling you something about relating you your own femininity or yourself in general most likely.
I pulled this from the Dream Moods dream dictionary:
Lesbian
To dream that you are a lesbian (but you are not in your waking life), signifies a union with aspects of yourself. It is symbolic of self-love, self-acceptance, and passion. You are comfortable with your sexuality and femininity. If, in your dream you abhor the notion of lesbianism, then it represents your fears and rejection of parts of your own sexuality.
If you are a lesbian in your waking life, then the dream is simply a reflection of your own self.

The fact that you had the dream doesn't make me think that. The fact that you're taking the time to ask about it on here makes me think that maybe you'd like to try the experience.
