I love living in Utah. I grew up here and have loved every bit of it. It's really cool to live here because in the winter you can go skiing as far south as Brianhead Ski Resort (it's by Cedar City area) and in the summer there is Bear Lake in the North. But what's also cool to do here in Utah is also in the winter if you live in the southern part and want to do something summery is to go to Zion's National Park.

The scenery is great and the people are good too. You will meet many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And many of them are really great people. Also check out Temple Square in Salt Lake City. They are beautiful grounds to walk around and the missionaries on the temple grounds give tours and talk about the history there. But if you don't want to do something like that, they won't bug you about not wanting to do it.

The Northern part of Utah is really great for more of the city feel. If you are a city person, but if you don't like big cities that much and more seclusion I recommend staying in the southern part. St. George, Cedar City, etc.

I really do love Utah, but also remember that it is a desert state. Utah isn't very green like Washington or Oregon are. But if you plan on visiting it for a vacation, enjoy! There are many things to do in Utah. Check out www.utah.gov, it can give you many insights into the beautiful state in which I live.

Also last thing, the schools here are awesome! I love them anyway, IMO. I especially recommend going to Cedar City for the Shakespearean Festival and also just walk around Southern Utah University's campus. I believe it to be one of the most beautiful campuses for college ever.

BrendaWise, the reason Americans use lay when they mean lie is carelessness. You ought to know about that. It's the same reason that you cannot spell. "If that so complicated?"
