I mean no ofences at all, I am just curious to know the opinions of the Americans about this issue. Here in Brazil we have such a poor media that we can not trust on the impressions they broadcast to us. So, what do you thinK? Why so many europeans, asians, africans and latin americans hate the US?

PS: Personally, I think this kind of feeling is stupid, I think there are good and bad americans, as there's good and bad Germans, Argentinians, Egiptians, etc...

Look at all the Muslim Countries and each leader. It’s too bad that Islam is defined by Bin-Laden, Saadam, and the Saudi Government. No wonder people see Islam as a Religion of hating all Jews and other religions. The last and only true leader of Islam was Prophet Muhammad and it’s amazing to know that it’s been 1400 years yet there is nobody that follow his path of leadership

I am merely wondering why it is that you like being Christian. Is it merely knowing that you'll never go to hell? Is it because you want to make the world a better place? Is it because you like knowing that you'll always have a friend to talk to? I'm sure there are other things. Tell me!

If you are white, how much would someone have to pay you to change your race to black?

Let's say you were born black. You came from the hood, where there are no good schools. Your parents don't have a car to take you to extra curricular activities, limiting your chances of getting a scholarship. You can't participate in sports because your parents don't have money for equipment, and other costs. There is no one to help you with your homework because your parents went to an inferior urban high school, and didn't learn much. Your school is dirty and overcrowed, and the teachers have all but given up. You are afraid to go to school because it is so violent there. You are unable to walk down the street without being harrased by cops, who wait for you to slip up in the tinest way, so they can lock you up and throw away the key.

What would you do in order to ensure happiness and success in your life?

Mohammed's sexual strength is equal to 30 men.

Anas said, "The prophet used to visit all his wives in an hour round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the prophet was given the strength of thirty (men). " Vol. 1:268

Mohammed married a 9 year old girl.

"Narrated Aisha that the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old."Vol. 7:64

Allah hurries to please Mohammed's sexual desires.

When the Quranic verse that allows Mohammed to postpone the turn of any wife was revealed, and when Mohammed said that Allah allowed him to marry his adopted son's wife, Aisha (one of his wives) told him, "O Allah's Apostle I do not see but that your Lord hurries in pleasing you. " Vol. 7:48

When a woman is divorced irrevocably, she can not return to her husband until she marries (including having sexual intercourse) with another man.

"Narrated Aisha: The wife of Rifaa Al-Qurazi came to Allah's Apostle and said, 'O Allah's Apostle, Rifaa divorced me irrevocably. After him I married Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi who proved to be impotent.' Allah's Apostle said to her, 'Perhaps you want to return to Rifaa? Nay (You cannot return to Rifaa) until you and Abdur-Rahman (the impotent man) engage in sexual intercourse!" Vol. 7:186

after someone you know dies, and then later on, you notice how someone unrelated looks like them?

I guess it's a weird question. But I'm just asking because a commercial came on where one guy in it looks like a friend that died a few years ago. And it reminded of how, after my grandfather died, my family used to see this guy walking through our neighborhood that looked like him.

With a topic as complex as religion - no, let's boil it down to (insert religious belief/non-belief here) - I don't see how that can reasonably be so. And it's not just with religion, either.

Why is it that many folks think there's only two sides to the discussion/debate/quarrel:

"right v. wrong"
"good v. bad"
"us v. them"

And it seems to be the case not only with folks with what I might describe as "opposite end of the spectrum" views, but also with folks who are generally within the same range of that spectrum.

But then, with "black and white" thinking, there is no spectrum, no shades of gray.

Does anyone else see this attitude as contributing to the problem that interferes with us even being able to hear another's views, much less listen to them?

And I know that I will probably get bashed for saying any of this; it's just the time that I've spent on Yahoo! Answers (which is a reflection of the world that we live in) has really caused me to lose hope.
