Thanks for the answers, but you see, its luck I can't control,,,Like,,,my car being vadalized twice!! My roof leaking a week after I got a new one,,,,my phone going out for days for no reason..I pay all my bills on time....the electrical in my house all of a sudden giving me problems..$$$$ I use to have a positive outlook on life.....I use to glow with positivity...but over the last 6 months to a year, its been one thing after another, and all out of my control....so, how does positive thinking change that.

and told me that He as giving me the True Word, and to spread it as much as possible to save the souls of all those who follow false prophets. I do this but Christians sit there and say they'll pray for ME! FOR ME! I'm trying to save their souls from eternal damnation here and they just quote the Bible! How can I convince them that they are following the path that leads straight to Hell?

The kids are going to be looking at the Lords Prayer and what it means, so does anyone know a website where I can print off a worksheet on it? The kids are aged between 2 and 7 so ideally have one worksheet for colouring in and the other for like a wordsearch or something? Thanks very much.

So many times on these boards, Christians are held to standards that no one else could possibly uphold. That's okay. We just need to let people know what Jesus Christ has done in our lives. We need to tell non-believers how we've been forgiven, redeemed, and how each and every man, woman, and child can secure heaven just by accepting the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. I praye, "Lord, I am a sinner, forgive me. I am not worthy of your sacrifice, nor can my works make me worthy. Lord, to you be all praise and Glory as you heal this nation and the world. In Jesus Name. Amen."

Now before I even get started, let me make sure I clear up a few things:
1) I am not gay
2) I have no issues with being gay AND
3) This only annoys me on principle – not some hidden desire to be gay or anything like that. Ok, here we go…

I have a friend at college (he is male) and he tells us (my other friends) how he likes to hook up with guys for sex on occasion and all that that entails…ok… use your imagination folks. My 1st question to him is "why the hell are you telling me this" – followed by, “why didn’t you tell me you were gay or bi?”

He swears up and down that he is not – and says that he loves girls, and that he is just attracted to the male body, but not emotionally. I am thinking to myself, “SO! WTF! Dude, you are f#cking guys!” It does not matter if you *love them* or not, you still are having sex with them – that makes you gay!

So basically, my question is am I right or is my friend right believing that as long as you do not love them you are not gay or bi?

"If a man takes a wife and, after laying with her, dislikes her and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, 'I married this woman but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,' then the girl's father and mother shall bring proof [how do you think they would do that?] that she was a virgin to the town elders at the gate. The girl's father will say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he dislikes her. Now he has slandered her and said, 'I did not find your daughter to be a virgin.' But here is the proof of my daughter's virginity.' Then her parents shall display the cloth [the father would literally stick his two fingers covered with a piece of cloth into his daughter's vagina before she gets married and keep that bloody cloth for as long as his daughter is married] with before the elders of the town, and the elders shall take the man and punish him. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 22:13-18)"

From as long as i can rememeber, my parents always told me it was respectful and dignified to remove my hat when ever you or someone else was prayer. But i find these days hardly anyone seems to do it? i rememeber at school if we where outside for assembly or for some reason, i would be one of a very few people, all the staff included who would remove my hat for Pray. This really annoyed me seeing i went to a christian school especially, but no matter what, its good manners to remove your hat during a prayer, why are people stopping doing it?

I find it so frustrating, rude, disrepectful and annoying when people disrubt a minutes silence that is in memory of someone who has passed away. I was watching an All blacks vs. Wallabies game the other day, and while they where observing a minutes silence some wallaby fun shout out a very loud and rude, "GO THE WALLABIES". I must say i was terribly ashamed to be a wallabies fan at that moment.

But even all through school for rememberence day, or anzac day people would talk constantly or whisper and it really frustrates me even though i may have had absolutely no connection to the deceased. Anyone else get irritated by this?
