Would you say actually read the links and additional details?

I think we're at about 14%, and that's being generous.

I will not open another link again after the one I opened yesterday. It was that "dirty trucker" guy, who claimed to have had sex with jesus, and his link was supposed to give us proof. I clicked on it and bam! a hundred windows opended up with aweful pictures of a masculine female body builder and what looked like a man pulling his own sphincter apart, with a loud voice over announcing "look at me I'm looking at gay porn" over and over again. It was almost like a dam virus. Never again, ever will I open someone's link, thanks to that jerk.

I followed about 3 links that were given in the question... and each one was just insulting or vulgar... so.. I no longer even answer questions that rely on links...

I do follow some of the links in answers... like when someone asks for a web page to find songs.. or other info.

That is being generous. If you post a link that pertains to your question, you'll find that the majority of the answers are obviously posted without having looked at the link at all.
I find this happens whenever I link scientific pages. Not only do they not refer to the information, they can't have had taken the time to have read it.

I read the deatils and links selectively depending on whether they sound interesting or not. I think 14% probably is generous. Most answers don't read past the part in bold, and at least half don't even read that part properly.

I never read links. I read details only if I plan to answer the question.

Call me a coward but ever since I was burned by going to a link I have stopped going to links all together.

Its safer to find info yourself. You get a better chance of not being led to a slanted site.

Links, never. Additional details, always--unless it's tediously long, in which case I'd have to say 5%.

It really depends how much time I have to read and answer. Oftentimes I skip the link questions.
Maybe 20% reads them
