The kids are going to be looking at the Lords Prayer and what it means, so does anyone know a website where I can print off a worksheet on it? The kids are aged between 2 and 7 so ideally have one worksheet for colouring in and the other for like a wordsearch or something? Thanks very much.

I am not sure what websites you could go on
but check the search
like www.google.co.uk and www.lycos.co.uk
and yahoo
also an idea is when your explaining the lords prayer make cards of each line with picture for the children to understand for example
"give us this day our daily braid" you could put that on a card with bread and food etc
well i hope it goes well
good luck xx
ps: don't listen to them nasty people on the question, pay them no mind!

How about not brain-washing them and explaining how prayer is useless? How about a nice science lesson?

Have the entire class gather around an amputee and have them pray for the rest of their lives that this person be healed and see if it happens.

Ah, nothing like brainwashing them early huh?
Another group of kids who will spend the rest of thier lives on the short bus of life. Helmets and drool bibs firmly in place.
Pathetic...

Send them to these sites (see links).

Update: Clearly Kitten and hotmamacita have not read the Bible, but allow me to share a little passage with them:

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."

- Matthew 7:1-2

Do a skit and a show and tell..

Our Father...Show them from the children's picture bible and science books the creation of the earth, pictures of earth, stars etc.

bible pictures of Adam and eve..

who art in heaven, [ have them pray and look up to God..]

hollowed be thy name...[ have them treat church relics, pictures, cross... with reverence.]

thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as in heaven..[ have them do a skit were they hurt someone.. like getting mad at one another and then working things out and forgive. also have them serve one another and to share.]

Give us this day our daily bread [ read the word of God, then in a skit have them practice and do it ]

bread in Jesus' prayer does not mean earth food, rather the word of God..you use bread only as symbolic and when ever the children see bread.. they will think of the word of God

Mt 4:4 But he answered, "It is written, `Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.`"

Joh 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Mt 26:26 As they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks for it, and broke it. He gave to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is my body."

It is the spirit, eternal flesh as given by God. The unseen, The word of God.. this is not earth bread.... nor earth flesh rather spirit bread as manna in the wilderness...and spirit flesh Gods word... it is th unseen in our realm on earth

and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us..[ once again to forgive one another in a skit also very important in the skit is to be able to work things out..and remember no evil for evil..

For thine is the kingdom, glory and power forever and ever ...Amen

Show them pictures of Paradise and heaven

you must know that all of Jesus' true teaching for the new testament was to do with the spirit world... all of it..

the 2-4 yr. old can color... this is a serious study and cannot be done in one session
