life is difficult and I believe it is due to mans laws and mans expectations on all

Life is indeed difficult, at times. But it can also be rewarding, if we live right. I figure if I do the right things, then if my life becomes difficult, it won't be the result of any bad choices that I have made.

In the New Testament, Paul writes to Timothy:

God... richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (2 Tim 6: 17)

Life is to be ENJOYED. God is not a killjoy.

But speaking for myself, I ran into trouble when I tried to manipulate life into giving me the things I wanted, or thought I needed and deserved. It wore me out, and almost killed me (literally, see my 360 page and my blog).

Life is difficult enough, but I made it even more difficult than it had to be by the way I was conducting my life and looking at the world. Now, I live one day at a time, enjoying each moment. (At least I TRY to! It's hard work sometimes...)

God likes to take people on the "scenic route" of life. So I've decided to stop rushing the future, and start enjoying the scenery.

Cheers, Jack

Of course life is tough. There are over 6 billion pepole on the planet, all trying to do the same thing as you. Live their lives and make it through this world as comfortable as possible. So naturally, not everyone will find an easy path to follow, it will inevitably come easier to few, but most will struggle. Those who struggle have two choices, simply accept what is before them, or choose to work for a better life. Its all how you look at it, but unfortunately, most take the easy path and blame someone else. If you want something, work for it. Its as simple as that.

No, not really. I think we have the ability to MAKE life difficult, but I think we also have the ability to make life NOT difficult.

So much of it is perspective. "I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet."

Much of it is jealousy or envy, wanting what someone else has and being bitter because you can't/don't have it for whatever reason. "It's not getting what you want, it's wanting what you've got."

In some cases yes, I believe for some folks life truly sucks through no actions of their own, but I think that happens far less often than folks believe. And even then there's the option of complaining about what's wrong, or doing what you can with what's left.

Are my "Pollyanna" pigtails showing?

It can be very difficult. Not everyone's life is a bowl of cherries. Some have had hard, difficult lives from the beginning. Not all are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Many sad and bad things have befallen families, death, rape, illness, division, etc. the list goes on. But if you have faith in your GOD, He will light the way for you through every dark moment in time. Eventually HE will bring enlightenment through HIS love for you.......

Life can be difficult at times for all of us, and moreso for some of us. A person needs to think beyond the present circumstances and realize that he/she can control some, but not all, of them. Adjusting one's thinking can be immensely helpful. And of course some people just keep making the same mistakes over and over, not seeing that they are the root cause of most of their own problems!

Life is difficult because you are living in a world of human beings where everyone is prone to making mistakes. One person's mistake can cause another person's discomfort, so it's never going to be easy as nobody's perfect.

I do not agree with this fact. life can never be difficult for a child of God, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, life can never be difficult for you becuase He will make available to you all that is needed to leave a wonderful life that is free of difficulties, with Jesus there is no difficulties in life for those who trust in Him.

Let me also add that as christians we only face trials or what we could also refer to as challenges, which is normal for every christian that has truely accepted Jesus, victory is sure for us at the end.

Life is however you percieve it to be....if you think life is difficult it will be difficult but if you think life is an easy breeze it will be and you will face it like and easy breeze no matter what comes in your way. Thus, in my opinion life is how we see it to be...we create our own destiny through our living :)

Only if you make it so.
Actually I find life to be quite pleasant. The difficulties only make the smooth areas that much nicer.
