Everyone has regrets about something... either something they did, or something they didn't do. What do you regret more? A foolish mistake? or a missed opportunity? Tell why you feel the way you do, if you so desire.

I live in NC and I see a fair share of confederate flags and bumper stickers, I'd take a wild guess and say that SC and GA are worse, but who's the absolute king of Confederate Nostalgia?

also, seperately (unless you can argue that they are the same thing) which state is Redneck Capital?

also (completely seperately) I'm terribly bored and lonely (in a nonhorny sense) and procrastinating wildly on my homework. if anyone wants to talk to me (and is interesting enough to keep my attention away from my absolutely abhorrible textbook) I'd be delighted to chat.

Hitler was born and baptized into Catholicism

His Jewish antisemitism came from his Christian background.

His early personal notes shows his interest in religion and Biblical views.

He believed that the Bible represented the history of mankind.

His Nazi party platform (their version of a constitution) included a section on Positive Christianity, and he never removed it.

He confessed his Christianity.

He tried to establish a united Reich German Church.

Hitler allowed the destruction of Jewish synagogues and temples, but not Christian churches.

He encouraged Nazis to worship in Christian churches.

He spoke of his Christian beliefs in his speeches and proclamations.

His contemporaries, friends, Protestant ministers and Catholics priests, including the Vatican, thought of Hitler as a Christian.

The Catholic Church never excommunicated Hitler. He died a Catholic.

I guess i just dont understand it, im not gay but why should i care or think i have the right to tell someone else the moral/relegious rules they have to follow? I could understand if it wasnt a free country and we were under some kind of Relegious rule, but last time i checked that wasn't the case.

I believe in God and Jesus died for our sins. I believe everyone should treat others as they want people to treat them. I dont go to church though. I like to party and hang out sometimes with friends. I have a problem cussing that i have tried to work on for sometime but people make me mad at times and i go off. Anyways i consider myself christian and believe many of their ways, but not all. Yet everyone takes it that all christians r the same. Not all of us tell others they r going to hell or to go to church or even to give me money before praying for them. Would it b possible im in the wrong religion?

Seriously - am I one of a few that sees this annoying pattern of questions? I'm sorry, but I find it retarded that the same question keeps getting asked over and over again.

That requires Faith in the U.S. Government, There is no gold backing the value of a dollar just faith in the government.
I find it easier to have faith in God then to have faith in the current form of government. Give to Caeser what is Caeser's. I am the offspring of Chimpanze and a human/ gorrila hybred. this Question is not serious I just wanted to see how many people really read the details. So how many people read all the details?

Im not a mean person, ofcourse I give pity to those who unfortunatly happen to walk in between traffic and keep begging car goers for money, I live in Toronto, Canada, and I see these individuals alot when Im on the bus or in the car etc, as much as i give pity, I also dont pity them, for gods sake I see grown guys who seem perfectly fit to atleast carry a part time job of carrying boxes or such and EARn money, and yet they beg, I say this becuase this is a society with so much oppurtunity, look at other countries, such as India or Mongolia, there you will find many many people lying in the street doing nothing but beg, now that I will pity, for theres really nothing for them, I would even give them all i got in my pocket eventhough knowing it wouldnt make a greater good anyway, anyways back to here, why do these people who are ABLE to do a job still beg? why cant they just step up and get a job? even if its the most mundane job, atleast they will earn some money right?

Bismillah, In the Name of God, is the beginning of all good things. So we too shall start with it. This blessed phrase is a sign of Islam, and all creatures constantly recite it in their unique way. If you want to understand what an inexhaustible source of strength and blessing Bismillah is, then listen to the following allegory:

For a stranger who travels in the deserts of Arabia, it is necessary to get the protection of a tribal chief. Only then may he escape the mischief of robbers and be sure his needs will be met. Traveling alone would be a waste of time because of the enemies and unmet needs he must face.

Two men once set out on such a desert journey. One was humble, the other arrogant. The humble man took the protection of a tribal chief, but the arrogant one didn’t. The former traveled everywhere in safety. Whenever he met a robber, he would say, “I’m traveling in the name of such and such chief,” and the robber would move on without molesting him. He would be treated with respect in every tent he entered because of that name. By contrast, the arrogant one suffered indescribable disasters throughout his journey. He trembled in constant fear and was obliged to struggle and beg for his every need. He became low and mean.

I have asked this question, as have others. As I have said, I was raised to believe that Jesus IS the Son of God, not that He IS God.

The typical response is "The Trinity" but then follows the claim that the Trinity is very difficult to understand and explain, yet the expectation is that one will simply accept it.

Others point out passage from scripture where Jesus says "I AM" and is called a blasphemer and almost stoned.

Then others note Biblical passages where Jesus differentates Himself from God.

(Please see another's post:

So does this mean that only some Christians truly understand what Jesus is? Did I spend years following the wrong teachings?

I realize that there are hundreds of denominations of Christianity, but isn't this a doctrine that ALL Christians should agree on?

Islamic history books tell about two prisoners of wars who surrendered to prophet Muhammed during the battle (Badr). One of them was Nadr Ibn Al Harith, and the other was Akba Ibn Abu Mu'et. After capturing them, prophet Muhammed ordered both of them to be KILLED. One of them, Akba, asked prophet Muhammed for mercy and told him about his children and what should they do after his death, then prophet Muhammed simply said: "they go to hell"!

The above incident is mentioned in most Islamic history books, including Ibn Hisham, Al Rawd Al Anf, Ibn Katheer...etc. You can read it in any of those books. Here is a link (in Arabic) to one of those books.

Did prophet Muhammed really do that? what was his reason for killing those prisoners of war? I understand that this was common by the time, but I thought that prophet Muhammed came with beautiful revolutionary teachings and values that should live until today.
