What about the barter system? it worked pretty good in the past. we could always go back to using seashells or even foriegn currency? but that really isn't the answer to my question now is it. how much do you see? look closer at my details and you may find the true question. Does this question offend you? This is a social esperiment. I am curious for the results. thanks in advance. so far I have 1 good answer, how many more look beyond the headlines.

I'll tell you why I have more faith in the government than I have in god. If I determine that the system is screwed up and I disagree with things that are happening, I can go to Albany or Washington DC and meet with the people who are, in my opinion, making a mess of things. Even if I cannot get a meeting with them directly, I can write my local representative and move my complaint up the ladder.
If I have an issue with the way reality is run, I cannot write a letter to god, or go to heaven and protest.
This is because the government is real, whereas god is not.
