It seems the Christians, Jews, Muslims, and other religions have documentation that describes and explains God. Even the Dead Sea Scrolls are religious. But, there are no scrolls that say there is no God. I find this fascinating that a great majority of the world believes in God, but the Atheists have no documentation at all to give them anything, except emptiness.

Ha don't make me laugh! Is that the only reason why God(christ) is the only god?

I've prayed and prayed about this dream for years now. Because I was so horrified of what the answer may be, I put it off to the side and just continued living my life. I felt like the dream reflected things I believe (my point of view) rather than what was really true. However, I just don't know. Perpetua had a triumphant dream hi
before she died, but my dream was very- and I mean VERY- non-triumphant. It has caused me to fear God in more ways than I ever thought I could and fear interaction with Jesus altogether (I know they're one in the same, anyway, though). I don't want to go into the details of the dream, however if anyone wants to message me about it privately, then I will talk with them. It haunts me, bad.

my beliefs are the one true belief and you were to believe the same of yours then how could we find some common ground to be able to get along. ( assuming that our beliefs were radically different) can it be done?
after reading so many opposing answers and questions on here it seems unlikely at best.

I have two close lady friends. Sexualy and for friendship they both have good qualities that the other does not have. This seems a very good arangement as they are unlikely to ever meet each other living in diferent parts of London. I have an all zones travelcard so can get around. More ladys as well could be a good idea

If you chose to change your gender, you would be a fully functioning member of that gender, You could even choose to change both. At the end you would get the choice to go back to what you were originally, or stay as you are now, Would you even be tempted to try it out?

I once joined a certain church (no names). It was the first time I'd been involved with any church.
I happened to mention to one of these people that I did not wish to become a fanatic, I was a little nieve then. This person by the way lived only a few houses from me and worked at the same place I did.
The following Sunday the serman was " I'm a fan of Jesus ". Now, it doesn't take much to put two and two together. I thought at the time " It's just a coincidence " but as the sermon went on I begen to feel embrassed and more than a little paranoid.
I found out later that this person I had spoken to about being a fanatic, had been assigned to ' Keep an eye on me '. This person knew I was going through a tough time. My partener was in Hospital, this person knew this, they had taken me to the Hospital a number of times, I also had a young child to take care of, so I was pretty stressed and to add to it I had these people making me feel paranoid.
opinions please?

NO WE DONT!
"Catholics worship statues!" People still make this ridiculous claim. Because Catholics have statues in their churches, goes the accusation, they are violating God’s commandment: "You shall not make for yourself a graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow down to them or serve them" (Ex. 20:4–5); "Alas, this people have sinned a great sin; they have made for themselves gods of gold" (Ex. 32:31).

It is right to warn people against the sin of idolatry when they are committing it. But calling Catholics idolaters because they have images of Christ and the saints is based on misunderstanding or ignorance of what the Bible says about the purpose and uses (both good and bad) of statues.

Anti-Catholic writer Loraine Boettner, in his book Roman Catholicism, makes the blanket statement, "God has forbidden the use of images in worship" (281).

Millions of children are not covered by any kind of insurance. If they become sick they are on their own. Why do conservatives seem to care more about the unborn and the un implanted( frozen embryos) than about those already here who need our help? Is it because there is no price tag attached to being pro-life? Why not be pro-life in respect to those who are dying without adequate health care?

Why is it that people use cause and effect as an argument for the fact that there is a God, but when asked where God came from they say he is eternal? It doesn't make sense, if you believe in cause and effect then God had to start somewhere.

are they so lazy they can't just walk up to the door,or call on a mobile to say about their impending arrival
while we are on the subject why do people really speed up when they are approaching an intersection only to have to come to a screeching halt lol
