Millions of children are not covered by any kind of insurance. If they become sick they are on their own. Why do conservatives seem to care more about the unborn and the un implanted( frozen embryos) than about those already here who need our help? Is it because there is no price tag attached to being pro-life? Why not be pro-life in respect to those who are dying without adequate health care?

I guess we are a selectively christian nation then. We are only a christian nation if it suits our interests, or if it doesn't cost us a bunch of money.

The answer is simple: because Christians suck!
Since Christians suck, a Christian Nation equals a Sucky Nation.
And Sucky Nations don't have nationalized health care.
Since the US is a Christian Nation, it is a Sucky Nation, so it does not have nationalized health care.
Good nations, like most of those found in Europe, North America (except the USA), South America and Asia do have nationalized health care.

Well, First off nothing is free in this world...thats why the most needy, get medicare or medicaid or the equivalent to each state.
Second, Its like asking why is GOD not around us like he was during the biblical times. We were left alone to fend for ourselves to weed out the best and the sinners , According to the Christians..
And of course Greed and Huge Company Monopolies.
For almost 300 million , free national care, is quite a task.
Oh and not enough doctors and medical personnel.

You missed an important word, They are Protestant Conservative Christians'
One of their basic tenets is that people become rich through their own hard work and correct personal choices .Those that don't become rich didn't work hard enough and made the wrong personal choices. Ironically it's survival of the fittest-evolution. Why reward incompetence ?

There is no universal health care in this country for ONE reason- the people who make the laws already have FREE healthcare for themselves and their families, so you and I are not high on their agenda. But, if their healthcare depended on whether or not everyone else had it first, we would all have universal healthcare in less than one week.

because this isnt gods world-- this isnt a christan nation... there are some christans in it-- but its important 2 realize that to be christan consist of more than a simple statement and just because it SAID we are doesnt mean we ARE. now in refference to what you said I agree but these are things we pray about/ do our best to help and put the rest in gods hands-- things like this wont be going on for long so have faith~
