I suppose it can be accepted. I believe the best way is to study each and every religion possible formulate what you think is good and reject those that you cannot accept. I believe in this way we can all grow....Ultimately arriving to a universal truth and when we reach to that point there can be no wrong. but then again im crazy so i could be wrong.....oh well

Religion is not a good basis for friendship.(assuming that is what you are talking about) I am from India and I have friends that are of radically different religious beliefs and I never had any problems getting along with them. It all depends on if you consider religion to be so important that you judge every action of a person by them.

The short answer is yes.
If you look at the hierarchy of needs, spiritual is a bit far from the others:
1) Physiological needs - water, food
2) Safety needs - shelter, protection, out of harms way
3) Belonging needs - sexual, social, family
4) Esteem needs - self-respect, respected
5) Self-actualization - think for oneself, ponder gods, discover insight
Each need is embraced after the need before it has been satisfied. You might risk your safety by running across a 5 lane freeway if you were starving and there was food there. You might not consider your self worth if you were concerned for your safety, etc.
So, yes, we could find some common ground regardless of gods. If we were placed in the right situation.
Good question though.

allow me to share a point here.
There is only One Sun that we all share on this planet. We seems to be able to share it somehow.
It is often the human ideology couple with the pride as to who belong to which grouping that is more important than the fundamental truth to it all. Put it this way, if GOD was standing for election.. will he win against BUSH?
Pride, Ego, Power, Personal Agenda, Wealth.. put these issue aside, and we are likely to see peach, harmony and love.

Of course we could get along. But if our moral sensibilities are very different if would make it more difficult.
I can get along with people of other religions as long as we value the same goodness and virtues and are both trying to follow our faith to the best of our ability.
god Bless You, ;-)

*Yes..... we're all individuals, (I'm not!)
...Everyone beleives the same thing and agree's all the time?...
...I don't want any part of that world, sorry, no progress would ever be made. A bit of disharmony and opposing views means we have radical thought, with radical thought we get idea's and diversity.

No one needs to agree! We just need to be clear on where we stand and where the other stands then we allow the other to accept their fate!
Clarity is better than agreement!
