i'm no longer an atheist, yet there's a severe concern with your question. in case you have self assurance in an all-effective God who created the universe, then via definition, He could exist exterior the universe. considering we are able to in straightforward terms degree and examine out issues _inside_ our universe, it is impossible to teach (or disprove) the life of God. right this is the deal: to cite Carl Sagan, "Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence". IOW, the thought that "we have not have been given any evidence of God, subsequently there is not any God" does not carry water. we've used technology to foretell issues that we had no evidence for on the time (like the Cosmic Microwave history Radiation) that have been later shown to be genuine. even nonetheless it is not like the CMB did no longer exist until eventually we observed it. via the comparable token, so some distance almost each thing we've got here upon in the universe has a medical clarification previous "God did it". To me, it relatively is not any evidence the two way--i've got not got a concern with the thought that God created the universe and the failings in it, and set the regulations for a manner those issues might substitute over the years. I now look ahead to the barrage of TD's from the two sides.

There is no way to prove the existence of God. I'm not an atheist, but there is no tangible proof of God in existence. Nobody has a photograph, video, or anything of the sort that would definitively prove the existence of God. Descriptions and stories are not proof. Using the logic that written accounts are prove, one could pick up a book of fairy tales and claim that unicorns and gremlins exist, but they don't. You can't prove the existence of God, but if, after looking at everything around you, you come to belief that "there is something more to all this than meets the eye", then you are more than welcome to believe in God or whatever you wish.

Sorry, your question is just too absurd. People believe in God without any proof. It is just faith. For a non believer,he can ask for proof. A great saint from India had once said " A fool can ask one question which ten wise men cannot answer."
Atheists can give a hundred proofs that God does not exist because they have not seen God. God is within ourselves.

Neihter the absence nor presence of something higher outside this world can be proven. And for those who answer evolution, they forget the Catholic church accepts evolution as the explanation of how humans came to being, they also accept the Big Bang theory. For me, God is the alfa, the first step in this universe, the beginning. But what is more important for religion, is teaching people how to live together.

Evolution is your answer!! Look into it, that is the answer! All of the religions believe in the bible stories, but certain stories were probably just made up because things could not be explained (i.e. evolution)! Ask any Atheist and they will say that Evolution is why they don't believe! Also ask any scientist!
I'm not an atheist but I do know some people who are!

The burden of proof lies with religion ... there is no need for anyone to waste their time disproving your baseless suppositions.
As it stands, there is no proof of a diety. Ancient scrolls prove nothing as the composers of those scrolls had no proof to offer either ... only blind faith.
The Greeks had their own religion, documented and preserved for the ages ... yet you declare their beliefs to be mythological and invalid while your own have no more evidential basis.

One cannot prove a negative. The onus is on those who claim he exists to prove it. A bunch of writings is not enough. It is hearsay and could have been written under the influence of drugs or alcohol or as a joke or as an elaborate lie.

The burden of proof is on you to prove that he does.
You can't prove a negative.
PS: love the tautology about the scrolls. Religion is true because religion says it's true? You can't really be THAT stupid.

they describe god...but they don't provide any evidence that he exists. I am not an athiest but when a christian shows me proof that i can physically see or feel i will fully believe. Then again i believe in deity but i do not believe in religion.
